WWE News: Eva Marie Misses NXT Shows to Film Total Divas, Blue Pants Leaving NXT, and More

– Eva Marie’s recent absence from the NXT TakeOver and NXT TV tapings this week were because she is currently filming for Total Divas in Paris, France. She is currently overseas along with the Bella Twins, Paige, Natalya, Mandy, and Rosa Mendes. In addition, Mendes’ recent engagement was filmed for the show.

– Leva Bates aka Blue Pants has reportedly completed her run at NXT and isn’t planned to be used again anytime soon. Bates was never formally signed to the company, but she was used on a regular basis after her character gained a cult following on NXT TV.

Bates also reportedly made comments backstage that rubbed some other roster members the wrong way. However, it was said to never be something she did maliciously. She simply made mistakes by speaking outwardly about how over she was with the fans. This upset other workers since her job was to help get other roster members over. WWE did not sell Blue Pants merchandise at recent weekend NXT events.

– WWE is reportedly filming material for Corey Grave’s Culture Shock at the New York Comic-Con this weekend. In addition, Graves has also picked up a gig to write a column for The Alternative Press.

– ESPN’s 30 in 30 short film on the Von Erich family is now available for streaming on Hulu Plus.

– The Philly Voice recently interviewed WWE Superstar Mark Henry.
