New Details on Laurel Van Ness Asking For Her Impact Release & If She’ll Get It (SPOILERS)
December 7, 2017 | Posted by
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Laurel Van Ness asked for a release and it was turned down just hours as they made her Knockouts champion at the last tapings. The company was really upset because they had already gone through several days of tapings and angles to build for her winning. Van Ness admitted she made a mistake in not asking for the release on the first day of the tapings, and the two sides had agreed not to discuss the situation publicly but it got out. Right now, the plan is for her to drop the title at the next tapings and to then be granted her release.
