Joe Hendry Thinks He Has Unfinished Business In WWE NXT

Joe Hendry says he has some things to settle from his time on NXT last year. The TNA World Champion appeared on NXT several times in 2024 and challenged Ethan Page for the NXT Championship at No Mercy. He recently spoke with the Respect The Craft podcast and during the conversation, he was asked who he would like to see come over to make a TNA appearance from NXT or who he would like to face in an NXT return.
“I’ve put it all out there,” Hendry said (per Fightful). “You guys know what matches I’m looking for. Again, if you look at my run in NXT, I think there’s unfinished business and history there. I’d like to see some of that spill over into TNA Wrestling.”
He continued, “But at the end of the day, my job is to be the best champion I can possibly be, and whatever is put in front of me, to do it to the best of my ability. It doesn’t matter who the challenger is, whatever the task is. I’ve just gotta do my best.”
Hendry is set to be part of a 10-man tag team match at TNA Sacrifice next month.
