April 10, 2016 | Posted by Robert Winfree

Hello everyone and welcome to 411mania’s LIVE coverage of UFC Fight Night 86. I’m Robert Winfree and I’ll be your host for the morning. It’s been a while between events but thanks for being here. Fight Night 86 looks like a card Mark Radulich put together, the top four fights are all heavyweights so let’s all just hope for quick finishes. The main event is a relevant fight though as the surging Ben Rothwell takes on former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos, if dos Santos wants to remain relevant at the top of the division he needs a win here while a win for Rothwell would all but guarantee him a title shot next. This event is the UFC’s debut in Croatia and comes to us from Arena Zagreb in Zagreb, Croatia with commentary duo of Jon Anik and Brian Stann.

Mic time for the former champion. He speaks a little Croatian to thank the crowd, who appreciate it then dos Santos admits he learned that last night. He says he’s happy to get a win for the crowd tonight. He says he feels he has the right strategy, he says he couldn’t trade with a guy that size so he moved a lot, he jokes to forget about wrestling and jiu-jitsu because he’s a boxing guy. He speaks one more phrase in Croatian that isn’t translated for the home audience but the crowd cheered it.
