– As previously reported, AEW wrestler Hologram suffered an injury and is expected to be out the rest of the year. Kyle Fletcher also attacked Hologram on AEW Collision a way to write him out of the show. Fightful Select also reports that the evil Hologram, El Clon (aka Arez), recently suffered an injury as well, but despite the injury, it’s said that El Clon is good to go now. So it appears the storyline involving El Clon in AEW will continue.
– Fightful also reports that a birthday party was held near AEW Dynamite this week for former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, who celebrated his birthday yesterday. During the event, Strickland reportedly highlighted repeatedly that he was 36 years old now, as Wikipedia has had his age listing wrong for years.
As noted, Swerve Strickland is currently out of action and recovering from a torn meniscus injury. He recently underwent surgery to repair the injury in August.
