Bayley Picks IYO SKY To Face At WrestleMania 40 On WWE Smackdown

Bayley has made her choice, and will battle IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40. Bayley appeared in a segment on Friday’s Smackdown and announced that she would challenge SKY for her championship at the April PPV.

In her promo, Bayley talked about how she’d done almost everything there is to do at WrestleMania and this year it’s different because she has Damage CTRL with her. SHe said the group was family and she needed to beat the best. She revealed that she has learned some Japanese and has heard what Asuka, Kairi Sane and SKY have been saying behind her back, noting that she can smell a backstab coming. (It didn’t hurt that Bayley also overheard a conversation between the three where SKY said that “Bayley’s done tonight.”)

Sane and Asuka then attacked Bayley and SKY joined in, but Bayley got a pipe from under the ring and chased them off before telling SKY that she would see her at WrestleMania.
