Bully Ray Praises Emotional Promo by Jey Uso on WWE Raw

– During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray shared high praise for Jey Uso cutting an emotional post-WWE Royal Rumble win promo on Monday Night Raw. Below are some highlights WrestlingInc.com):

Bully Ray on Uso’s raw emotion during his promo: “This is what I talk about when it comes to real emotion, raw emotion. What you saw with Jey Uso in the ring is what I wish we could bottle in professional wrestling and hand it out to each wrestler, so they could find that kind of emotion.”

On how it didn’t feel like Jey Uso was cutting a promo on WWE Raw: “When he eventually started to talk, it didn’t sound even remotely like a promo. He was just kind of spouting off whatever came to the top of his head. When you see somebody’s eyes well up the way [his] did, and just a little bit of a tear in his eye, that was as real as it gets, because everything he was saying was true.”

With his victory, Jey Uso has earned a world title shot at WrestleMania 41. The two-day premium live event is scheduled for April 19-20. It will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. It will be broadcast live on Peacock.
