Details On Possible Creative Plans For Chad Gable Going Forward

Chad Gable has a new prominent spot on WWE TV following his El Grande Americano unmasking, and a new report notes he could be headed to SummerSlam. As noted, Gable has returned to Raw television after his mask vs. mask loss to El Grande Americano II at AAA Noche de Los Grandes. He picked up a win over Rusev and found allies in Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee.

According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, there are several people in WWE pushing to give Gable to have a prominent spot at WWE SummerSlam. The two-night event is taking place in Minneapolis, Minnesota which is Gable’s hometown.

There is no word on exactly what kind of “presence” is being pushed for, nor is anything confirmed on whether the push will bring results. Gable has been involved in a storyline with Mysterio, Lee, Rusev, and Ethan Page over the last couple of weeks. WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta has also revolving around the story, as Rusev and Page have both targeted said title.

WWE SummerSlam takes place on August 1st and 2nd from US Bank Stadium in the aforementioned city.
