Enzo Discusses WWE’s ‘Horrendous’ Decision to Go On With WrestleMania 36 at Performance Center
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Enzo discussed WWE’s decision to go on with WrestleMania 36 at the Performance Center, calling the decision “horrendous.” Highlights are below.
On what he thinks of WWE’s decision to go on with WrestleMania 36 and hold it at the Performance Center: “Horrendous. You asked for my honest opinion. I’ve had more wrestling matches in an empty Performance Center, and oh my God, I couldn’t imagine being told that I’m going back there to do WrestleMania. I feel for the Bayleys and the Charlottes, the Sashas of the world. The Corbins and the Elias Sampsons. That have had these countless matches under that same umbrella, just like fuck. I can’t wait to pop Michael Cole sitting ringside, if I can get a fucking pop out of Jerry Lawler, my day will be made here at WrestleMania.”
On if he will be watching WrestleMania 36: “I couldn’t sit through that, man, I couldn’t sit through a Performance Center WrestleMania. The reason why I say that is because I watched a quarter inch of that footlong bullshit they served you guys the other day. I saw that last week, whatever it was, Smackdown I believe, that they were airing, before the 3:16 RAW, I said, I couldn’t bring myself, I love Stone Cold more than maybe any wrestler that ever existed, I couldn’t bring myself to watch a 3:16 in the Performance Center just because I know how painful it probably was for him, because it was just a payday, let’s just be fucking honest with each other.”
