Hacksaw Jim Duggan Says Ric Flair Fulfilling AEW Contract Is ‘Optimistic’

As previously reported, Ric Flair signed a multi-year deal with AEW earlier this month and confirmed that the deal is for two years. In the latest Hacksaw Hour (via Wrestling Inc), Hacksaw Jim Duggan said that the idea that Flair will end up fulfilling the two years of his deal is “optimistic.”

He said: “That’s optimistic. I’d like to sign something for a couple of years … it’s been going like this for me. Two years? Sh*t, that’ll work! Good for Ric! Ric is Ric Flair, you know? Ric and [Hulk] Hogan are on a whole different level [of popularity].“
