Various News: IndieGogo Launched For Roddy Piper Comic, Midnight Express To Reunite To Celebrate Dennis Condrey Beating Cancer

– An IndieGogo page has been launched to help support a new Roddy Piper comic from Mess Bucket Comics, Pro Wrestling Tees and his wife Kitty Toombs. The comic will be called Roddy Piper: The Kilted Avenger.

Here’s a synopsis: The greatest wrestler of all time, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, is back with a fun story where he fights to save the world from the tyranny of Ruth S. Heel. Roddy is a talk show host by day and vigilante by night that will stop at nothing to bring his brand of justice.

– Jim Cornette announced on his latest podcast that the Midnight Express’ Dennis Condrey has won a four-year battle with cancer. To celebrate, the team will have a 35th anniversary reunion at specific events in the next year. Cornette, Condrey and Bobby Eaton’s first appearance together will be at the Nashville Comic Con. Other planned events include West Virginia in April 2019 for All Star Wrestling, Richmond, Virginia in May 2019 (also featuring Stan Lane) and August 2019 at the T-Mart The Gathering convention in Charlotte (all three members, Cornette and Ravishing Randy Rose).
