Kassius Ohno Reportedly Among WWE Layoffs & Furloughs
– According to Dave Meltzer and F4WOnline.com, Kassius Ohno was among the layoffs and talents that were released or furloughed by WWE. Rumors and speculation had started circulating on his status when his profile was moved to the Alumni section of WWE.com.
It’s not confirmed if Ohno was among talents who were cut from the roster or furloughed. It’s believed he was cut from the roster due to his profile being moved to the Alumni section of the website. Ohno has not yet publicly commented on his status. However, his Twitter account handle currently lists him as “WWE Alumni.”
Recently, Kassius Ohno had been part of the NXT UK roster, and he also did work as a coach and trainer. He returned to WWE under the NXT banner back in 2016. As previously reported, some of the WWE producers and employees who were furloughed by WWE this week due to changes brought about by the coronavirus pandemic, and they were not technically fired. It’s possible some of the furloughed employees might be brought back later. An information packet given to furloughed employees also stated that WWE is reserving the right to extend the length or terminate the period of the furlough at the company’s discretion.
