The Last Match: A Pro-Wrestling Rock Musical Releasing Concept Album

The upcoming The Last Match: A Pro-Wrestling Rock Musical is set to release a concept album this summer ahead of its full premiere. The show’s PR team announced on Wednesday that a double-sided single will be released in July for the musical, with a full recording and concert set for August.

A double-sided single will be released in July ahead of a full recording and concert in August.

The producing team for The Last Match: A Pro-Wrestling Rock Musical is announcing that our show will get a World Premiere Concept Album on Think Big Pictures.

The album will feature Iranian born actor and International Star Ramin Karimloo (Funny Girl, Les Misérables, Phatom of the Opera) along with former WWE writer turned actor Phil Blechman, Amber Ardolino, Heather Jane Rolff, Ryan Gregory Thurman, Sam Zeller, and Sylvana Joyce.

The double-sided single will be released on July 11th in advance of the full album release. This will coincide with the late summer launch of the Pro-Wrestling concert version of The Last Match in late August 2022 to be directed by Chad Austin, Artistic Director, The Abingdon Theatre Company.

The Last Match: A Pro-Wrestling Rock Musical features Books & Lyrics by Jason Huza; Book, Lyrics and Music by Sylvana Joyce and C.R. Smith; and Book and Original Concept by Jeremiah James.

The album will be produced by Jeremiah James, Janine Lee Papio, Tommy Fierro, with Rachael Murray serving as Executive Producer.
