Liv Morgan Reportedly Dealing With New Shoulder Injury, Expected to be Out of Action for a While

– As previously reported, WWE ran an angle last night on Raw where Rhea Ripley attacked Liv Morgan, trapping her arm with a steel chair and stomping on it. Bryan Alvarez reported on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that Morgan is legitimately hurt, and WWE ran last night’s TV angle to write her off TV.

According to Alvarez, Morgan has a legitimate shoulder injury. He added, “This was an angle to put her out of action for a while and maybe a long while. I guess that is to be determined.”

As noted, Morgan had already made a previous return to WWE TV last month after suffering a torn shoulder, beating expectations that she would be out for the entire summer. Alvarez indicated that Morgan’s injury involves her opposite shoulder and not the one she previously injured.

Alvarez continued, “My understanding is it’s the other shoulder. … They injured the left one in the storyline, but whichever one she hurt last time, I think she hurt the other one this time.”

Additionally, PWInsider reports that Morgan might be dealing with a separating shoulder as that was the word making the rounds backstage last night. PWInsider noted that while that was being talked about last stage, the nature of her shoulder injury isn’t 100% confirmed.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez recently lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green last week on Raw.
