Matt Cardona Shares Vlog on His Dad Attending to GCW Event at The Showboat in Atlantic City

Former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona shared a new vlog about how much his parents support him and show up for his career. In the caption of his new video, Cardona wrote, “My parents come to a lot of my shows…the big ones and the very, very small ones. I love them for that.”

Cardona explained that he’d rather his parents not even show up for his match at a GCW event at The Showboat in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He explained, “I said, ‘Please don’t come to this! Please!’ Listen, I love that they support me. Come to the Hammerstein Ballroom, you know what I’m saying? Come to a bigger show. Don’t come to this Sunday show in Atlantic City at the ****ing Showboat Casino in some weird room on the second floor.”

Cardona added, “I mean, you came to WrestleMania. Now you’re coming to ****ing — this might be worse than my debut match at a high school gym. I’m not ****ing kidding!”

The wrestler also noted how supportive his father is of his career. He explained, “My dad, super supportive. He was at my first indie show ever, recorded me with a camcorder. Did a run-in at WrestleMania. Now he’s here tonight. He actually, at the second Homecoming, when Chelsea [Green] and I renewed our wedding vows, my mom was there, my dad was there. My dad took a light tube from [Nick] Gage!”

At WrestleMania 32, Matt Cardona won the WWE Intercontinental Title in a Ladder Match. His dad later came into the ring to embrace his son after the win. You can view Cardona’s new video below:
