Mercedes Mone Unifies ROH Women’s TV Title, Defeats Red Velvet On AEW Dynamite

Mercedes Mone is now the undisputed ROH Women’s Television Champion, unifying the title against Red Velvet on this week’s AEW Dynamite. Mone battled Velvet in the main event of Wednesday’s show, coming out with the win. She picked up the victory after a back-and-forth match with a lungblower off the top rope to get the pinfall and unify the titles.

Mone was the interim ROH Women’s Television Champion, having defeated Mina Shirakawa for the interim title at AEW WrestleDream. Velvet was the last undisputed champion before tonight. She was injured before ROH Supercard of Honor and an interim title was instituted.

Mone remains a holder of 13 concurrent titles, having won her 13th in the APAC Women’s Championship on Saturday. She has a chance to add a 14th when she battles Kris Statlander at AEW Full Gear on Saturday. That match will be for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Statlander was on commentary for the TV Title match to get a look at Mone.
