NAWA Launching New Weekly Series On FITE TV
PWInsider reports that the recently relaunched North American Wrestling Alliance (NAWA) will begin airing a new Thursday night show on FITE TV starting January 7, 2021.
The company makes its official return on December 19 with the iPPV Jingle Brawl from Daytona Beach, Florida. That will also be available on FITE. There will be a Hercules Cup to pay tribute to Ray ‘Hercules’ Hernandez, who was part of the company during the 90s and was close with Paul Roma, an executive for the company. Names announced so far include Gangrel, Afa Jr. Davey Boy Smith Jr., Johnny Swinging, Kahagas, Leon Scott, Bruce Santee, Cassidy Riley, The Dirty Blondes, Storm Thomas, Marcel Williams, The Slambinos (Francisco Ciatso & AJ Jannuzo), Micah and Tracy Taylor and more. Tickets are on sale between $21 to $55 before Ticketmaster fees.
NAWA is also looking to hold an event in Raleigh, North Carolina in January. Tony Capone was in the state over the weekend working on the details.
