Next WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Reportedly Scheduled for January 25

– It looks like the next edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event will be happening sooner than expected. During today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer had an update on when WWE is planning to hold the next edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Meltzer reported that WWE confirmed it to him that the next edition of SNME will be held on January 25, 2025, which is a week before the WWE Royal Rumble on February 1, 2025. He added that the plan is to run four editions of SNME a year, and they will be held quarterly.
As far as the show’s proximity to the 2025 Royal Rumble, Meltzer stated the date was an NBC call. Meltzer explained, “The deal is that when they get the date from NBC, that is the date they run. They do not run NBC. NBC is the one who makes the choice. They are the higher power in this one.”
The classic WWE show makes its return to broadcast TV later this month. WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will be held on Saturday, December 14 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. The show will be broadcast live on NBC and simulcast on Peacock.
