In an interview with Fightful, PCO said that he didn’t want his actions at The People vs. GCW to hurt his reputation in WWE. PCO smashed the TNA Digital Media title with a sledgehammer and then tried to rant about the promotion before the feed cut away.

He said: “The thing I wanted to make sure I clarified, I didn’t want people to think PCO was mad because he didn’t get along well with Shawn [Michaels] or Kevin [Nash]. Me and Kev were buddies I put the clips from Kliq This when he said ‘Me and Carl are buddies now,’ so people know. Even Shawn, he helped me out in 2009, for a couple of things where he heard some creative ideas I had. [John] Laurinaitis wasn’t there, I handed it to Shawn, he didn’t put it in the garbage can. He gave it to Vince back then. He called me back after that. Paul, Triple H, when he came from WCW, whatever I did wrong, I did. I was 25-26 years old, I was a kid. This time was different. Much older. Even if it’s not pre-planned, you have scenario A and scenario B, if you decide on the scenario, it’s because you’ve thought about it. Triple H, when he came from WCW, his first TV taping, he came in and everybody was taking more room than they needed so he couldn’t sit anywhere. He had no friends, he just came from WCW. I pushed all my stuff to one side and said, ‘Buddy, you can have the seat beside me.’ We started talking, and his first three or four weeks in WWE, we rode together to a lot of shows. We joked and had a lot of fun together. If Paul didn’t like me during my days that I despised Kevin and Shawn, I was always pretty cool with Razor [Scott Hall] and Paul. I think the fact that they were all together, maybe it didn’t help me in the end. I think it’s all water under the bridge now. I certainly didn’t want me smashing the belt to hurt my reputation with WWE. It was nothing against them. It was all towards me not pulling out when I should have pulled out. That’s very important.
