WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair shared some wild stories while reminiscing about his lifestyle while being on the road during his career. Flair appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show this week. During the conversation, he claimed that he lost four Rolex watches hanging out with The Undertaker back in the day.
Flair also revealed that Curt Hennig, aka Mr. Perfect, “roofied” him during the infamous Plane Ride From Hell during the summer of 2002. The 16-time world champion also detailed one separate instance of Hennig doing the same that led to him losing three Rolex watches. Below are the highlights:
Hanging out with The Undertaker
“I’ve lost four Rolexes hanging out with The Undertaker, that son of a b**ch?”
On being “roofied” by Curt Hennig
“Because I used to get drunk with him [The Undertaker] and then Curt Hennig had roofied me. I woke up one night in Baltimore with two girls. My wallet was gone, my rental was gone, so I’m married, right? Then I go, ‘Okat, girls, what the f**k? Where’s my s***?’ They said, ‘You threw your three Rolexes into a bowl of spaghetti last night at Sabatino’s. I had 13 of them. Well, what am I gonna do? Call the cops? I’m married.”
Ric Flair claims Curt Hennig also “roofied” him during the infamous Plane Ride From Hell in 2002
Helwani: “You said Curt Hennig roofied you.”
Flair: “Yeah, he roofied me in the plane ride from hell, too, brother! Hey, and Ariel, if you can find enough money, I’ll tell you the whole story.”
On sexual allegations against him during the Plane Ride From Hell
“All those girls that sued me… If I had a decent lawyer back then, but I lost my memory after being sick and all that. You can’t take four beautiful women, which they were, on a seven-day tour with 25 wrestlers. Sorry, it just doesn’t stack up.”
The Plane Ride From Hell in May 2002 remains one of the most infamous scandals in WWE’s history. The flight, consisting of WWE Superstars flying from London to New Jersey, was marked by numerous incidents, including Brock Lesnar’s fight with Curt Hennig and Ric Flair’s alleged sexual advances toward two women. The company fired Hennig following the incident. Hennig passed away on February 10, 2003.
