Rikishi Says Trick Williams Instantly Looked Like A Star On WWE Main Roster

On the latest episode of Off The Top, Rikishi talked about Stephanie Vaquer catching fire with WWE fans, Trick Williams being called up to the main roster and more. Williams picked up his first win on last week’s Smackdown.
Rikishi spoke about how Williams looked like a star right away. You can check out some highlights below:
On Stephanie Vaquer:
“She’s gonna be something to reckon with, man. Because they ain’t really, really light her up yet. You know, you got certain talent that when they come through those curtains, the fans either they like you or they don’t like you. And she just instantly got over so quick, you know?
“And here’s the chick, she don’t speak English very well. But that just goes to show you that actions speak louder, right? Because she’s a beast, and she’s talented. Everything that she does in there, she’s smooth at it. She knows how to engage with the fans. So I see big things happening for her.”
On Trick Williams:
“Trick finally got called up to the main roster. So I look forward for some good things to happen to Trick. I feel if they push this kid the right way, just let him do his thing. Let him find himself. Let him be — obviously he’s comfortable already on the mic. He kind of knows who he is, and you can tell, I kind of caught a little bit on Friday when he came up.
“He looked sharp with that white mink coat. He just looked like a superstar. And it was a fresh body talent to be able to look at on Smackdown. You get tuned in like, ‘Okay, let me see what this guy’s all about.’ And you can hear like, his following coming from NXT definitely followed him up to the main roster. And they were just yelling his catchphrase, ‘Whoop that Trick,’ right? So you know, once people start yelling your catchphrase, and that’s your first time on TV? You can rest assured that you know the creative control back there, they already own it.”
