– During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, former WWE Superstar Simon Dean (aka Mike Bucci; ECW’s Nova) discussed AEW All In London at Wembley Stadium, comparing it to ECW’s first pay-per-view, Barely Legal, in 1997. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):

Simon Dean on AEW All In being this generation’s Barely Legal: “I truly think what AEW pulled off yesterday [Sunday], and if you’re looking for a soundbite, this could be it. I think this could be this generation’s [ECW] Barely Legal, and what I mean by that, to see what ECW did in April of 1997, 26 years ago, which is still talked about to this day, it was a watershed moment.”

On the similarities between the two shows: “It was something that was never supposed to happen. It was a group of people that got together — misfits, whatever you want to call us — and people had a vision. They had an attitude. They got together. They created something. And it was never supposed to occur, and it did.”

AEW All In London was held at Wembley Stadium in London. The event had a paid live attendance of 81,035 people. It was broadcast live on pay-per-view.
