The Wrestling Sandwich 10.15.11
You smell that? Smells like some kiddies got butt hurt in the comments section because more statistics and facts proved them wrong. In fact, I’ve noticed that quite a few people posted some troll bait in the comments section and as usual those comments will be ignored but I’ll be dealing with little Colin Blow Whinehart later on in the usual place and put him in his, because it is about time an adult stepped in the room to deal with these little brats. The procrustean elite that writes here so often are proven wrong time after time and yet they still return to trade insults and try to prove themselves only to have their pet theories shot down one by one:
1. Wes Kirk is Spencer/Fuj/Elvywhatever/anybody else who posts good things about TNA – Factually disproved by the moderators of our fine discussion software team.
2. Wes Kirk is really some nobody working at Geek Squad – Factually disproved by the account statement. Oh, I’m sorry, now you claim the statement is a fake too? So if I prove you wrong the proof is fake? Sorry but you asked for proof and you got it. You were wrong and it is time to take the medicine and admit it. Nothing I post will be considered 100% proof to you because you can’t handle the idea of me being right.
3. Wes Kirk is feuding with Aaron Frame because of some Internet writer gimmick – Factually disproved time and time again by either one of us. If you work in the staff section you already know how uncomfortable it is when we’re both logged in at the same time because everybody expects a blowout.
4. TNA is dying – Factually disproved again and again with proof that TNA is doing well and maintaining solid growth.
5. WWE is getting better – Factually disproved by buyrates, ratings, and revenue drops. If WWE was indeed getting better all three areas would be improving and they are losing ground instead.
6. UK ratings don’t mean anything – Factually disproved, ask anybody who lives in the UK if their ratings matter. To claim yourself a global phenomenon implies you are indeed seen by the entire world, and the ratings I’ve been researching lately to challenge WWE’s assertion they are shown in over 500 million homes are not looking good.
7. Wes Kirk is biased towards TNA as a gimmick – Factually disproved as I’ve bashed TNA for some dumb decisions several times. I generally enjoy longer technical matches but frankly when the X-Division is on and the younger main event guys can go, the show is enjoyable. I am biased towards TNA but if you look around the site you will notice that there are TONS of people overrating anything WWE does, namely the RAW and Smackdown recappers. This column is the voice of TNA whereas before it had none and it should come as no surprise that the column is doing so well because people are tired of hearing how wonderful the McMahon circus is these days. TNA exists, and I enjoy covering it and I will do what I can to help TNA along and if you can’t handle one out of fifteen columns actually promoting the company you’re unable to be helped from the ‘ELusion you are experiencing.
8. Wes Kirk isn’t really conservative – Factually disproved, as anybody who has seen my politics posts on the staff section knows. Simply put, the facts prove conservatives have the smart ideas and liberals basically think taxing and spending are the be-all and end-all of existence. That doesn’t mean I am a textbook conservative, as I personally do not think marriage is for me although I believe in the power of positive family values. I also enjoy banging the hell out of hot women and also enjoy a menu that offers more than one choice if you get my drift.
It will basically continue on and on. You can’t accept defeat so you just attack me, try to quote my original Sandwich article where I was only hired to be Steve’s straight man to his TNA jokes and then broke out and became Mr. 411 Weekend all by my lonesome. I do have a challenge for you: If you want to insult me, how about actually doing so in a manner not involving profanity, ad-hominem attacks, and penis size jokes? Try to actually gather some intelligence for one single moment of your lives in your reply. I look forward to the laughable results.
Vince Russo was apparently demoted in TNA in that he is no longer the only guy in charge of the long-term development of the company but still has a job there. Bruce Prichard, found in my column every week in his Brother Love attire, will be replacing Russo in his old role but don’t fret Vince because HEEEEE LOOOOVES YEEEW! My opinion, which was asked by a few commenters, is that the less Russo we have the better. In fact I’m all for hauling his ass out of TNA entirely but whom we replace him with is the important thing. I think Tommy Dreamer helped in his brief booking stint to get the matches longer and more interesting so he’d get a vote to help out. Of course, I’d love to volunteer for the job myself! I’d like to see every Impact have a main event of around 15-20 minutes with a clean ending to show people just what the company can do, but that’s probably a pipe dream. Also in other TNA news that isn’t really news they are bringing in another Jersey Shore personality for a few shows and I can’t see exactly why this is bad? This Ronnie person is likely a fan of wrestling, probably grew up watching Hogan and Flair, and will be promoting TNA to its core demo as Jersey Shore is very highly rated and teaming up with TNA will likely benefit TNA a lot more than Jersey Shore. J-Woww was wonderful on her appearance and if Ronnie showing up for a couple of quick scenes to pop the rating higher, I’m all for it! The problem is that people don’t really know about TNA and people everywhere know about WWE so the more publicity TNA can get the better the chance of growing the show. I still maintain what I said a few months back that TNA needs a new channel and a live show every week but I don’t think they will be leaving Spike anytime soon.
Top Stories of the Week!
1. Weekly Ratings Roundup
TNA Impact – 1.0, 1,376,000 million viewers
WWE Smackdown – 2.04, 3 million viewers
WWE RAW – 3.25 average, 5.38 million first hour and 4.67 second hour – 13% decline (worst since 2007)
TNA Impact saw a 1.0 rating on Thursday with almost 1.4 million viewers but that, again, is in the low end of their normal ratings. Anybody who did watch last week will likely have seen Thursdays show, as last week was pretty good! Smackdown improved slightly with a 2.0 and a bit over 3 million viewers, but the real story was Monday Night RAW which was able to get a staggeringly good 3.25 rating but it came with a caveat that the second hour was the largest hourly decline in four years with a 13% loss in viewers. Basically, we saw 5.38 million people watch hour one but when it was business as usual again it dropped to 4.67 million which is nearly one million people turning their TV off on RAW. Networks aren’t very impressed with shows that ditch viewers in the second half so we’ll see if WWE can continue their recent trend upwards. Of course the biggest news affecting both companies is this interesting information down below:
“Over the last few weeks, approximately 180,000 homes have dropped cable and or satellite service. This is the first time that the cable industry has witnessed such a slow, but steady decline. While on the surface it doesn’t seem like much, the USA Network and Spike TV have had a decrease in homes of 1.5%. For companies like WWE & TNA, that means they may do an identical ratings number, but viewers will be down 1.5%.”
This means very little to TNA considering that the network is barely watched to begin with although WWE’s numbers will need to be inspected to see if they are indeed keeping viewers or if the numbers are inflated due to the decrease in viewers. There has been a question about Nielsen ratings accuracy for some time and I’m pretty sure quite a few of the numbers on shows are skewed incorrectly but this will be a good way to test as if we see RAW getting a 5.0 with 2.6 million viewers we know they are inflating the rating. Of course, the recession that isn’t happening after the summer of recovery II with the great economy is to blame for people cutting back… well, people who aren’t occupying the White House and ordering $100-a-plate Wagyu steak anyway during their weekly parties costing over $10k a pop on our money but unfortunately people just can’t afford to have 3,000 channels when 2,500 will suit them just fine.
Also, news you probably should know:
“The October 1st WWE joint house show in Mobile drew 3,200 paying, for a gate of $92,000. This is considered disappointing for a joint show headlined by John Cena.”
Proof is in the buyrates, ratings, and now house show lack of attendance that WWE is not drawing in new fans despite their claims.
2. WWE Classics Rewriting History Again
While perusing through a few segments of the October WWE Classics offerings I noticed that once again the Revisionist History team at WWE have been working on editing out significant amounts in the Monday Night Wars and even Prime Time. As you all know by now, Chris Benoit is edited completely out of everything as standard operating procedure, but for some reason some new things were edited and there doesn’t seem to a be a reason why.
Firstly, Zeus’ appearance in the ring on Prime Time was discussed only if you watched the show you wouldn’t find him anywhere. This is unusual because they have shown Zeus several times on Classics and own all the rights to his appearances in the WWF and WCW but for some reason his segment was not shown. During the updated Monday Night War Nitro show, Eric Bischoff’s talk show segment mocking Jay Leno was cut out yet Jay Leno was mentioned by name and he’s been shown on the PPV section as well.
One of the things I hate most is when people tinker with something that is public record. Benoit is an understandable omission although controversial but these particular changes that have suddenly been coming up leave a lot to be desired. Cutting out programming content from the shows that aired in the past ruins the whole feeling of being “in the moment” when everything happened and also costs people content that they spend their hard-earned money on. Frankly, if the WWE continues to massively edit shows I will be one of a growing number of customers canceling their subscription because I paid to see some of the best shows in their entirety. In the end, I just hope common sense prevails and they finally decide one day to put everything possible back in as it aired originally.
3. Y U NO RAG ON TNA?
Recently this week TNA got some bad news involving angry fans at Hulk Hogan’s Hogan and Friends gathering in Pennsylvania and canceling -one- house show. Obviously the question is going to be why I don’t highlight these the way I have other stories, and the answer to that is very simple:
Because every other column here already does.
This column doesn’t believe in bashing the hell out of a company when 98% of the columns available to read here are already doing it. If you hate TNA, you get your daily dose of TNA bashing with every other column so don’t bitch. End of story.
4. Impact Quick Recap
1. AJ Styles and Rob Van Dam defeat Jerry Lynn and Christopher Daniels when AJ Styles Clashed Jerry Lynn **1/2
2. Samoa Joe defeated Matt Morgan via cross heel submission **
3. Brian Kendrick and Jesse Sorensen defeated Austin Aries and Kid Kash when Kendrick hit Sliced Bread #2 on Aries over the title belt **
4. Mr. Anderson defeated Scott Steiner when Abyss accidentally punched out Steiner with the steel chain *
5. Handicap Match: Bobby Roode defeated Gunner and Jeff Jarrett via crossface submission on Gunner **1/4
Best Booking Move of the Week: The huge build of Robert Roode as a true star continues
Worst Booking Move of the Week: Anderson/Steiner match having DQ worthy attacks in front of the referee with no explanation why it was allowed.
All the matches got some type of time tonight which is a good thing and everybody is getting set to head to the granddaddy of ’em all at Bound For Glory on Sunday night. We’ve been waiting a whole year to see what the top card will bring as last year brought the formation of Immortal along with Jeff Hardy turning heel to win the title with Bischoff and Hogan’s assistance and this year it looks like the wrong is going to be made right if Sting can defeat Hogan one more time.
Say hello to Christina Von Eerie! She made her official debut as Ink Inc’s female bodyguard/valet on Impact and she’s rocking one hell of an awesome mohawk. This will likely set back Mexican America’s female interference by at least one unless they let Christina take them both out, which is fine by me considering how much unneeded interference they cause.
Sting and Hogan didn’t say very much or need a lot of time to sell their match since we all know who they are and what they are fighting for. Hogan sneak attacking Sting thanks to a Bischoff distraction was classic heel Hogan and it looks like we’re getting the Hollywood version in full effect Sunday night. Sting has the chance to win back the company and it looks like Hogan might be turning face that very night as well depending on how Bischoff reacts to the match ending as it would be likely Bischoff would be the heel leader for Immortal if Hogan turns.
Overall a solid show with some good matches and everybody got time for the nine match card at Bound For Glory (yes, instead of a shitty product with three announced matches seven days before the event they actually have used the time to build interest in nine matches!) so it is put up or shut up time Sunday night and we’ll have coverage next week in the Sandwich for the BFG PPV and what happens afterwards.
5. WWE Caught In Another Lie!
In a Wrestling Sandwich exclusive, the WWE Survivor Series has been revealed to still have almost forty-eight dual ticket packages remaining. Previously the WWE announced the Survivor Series had sold out and a picture was posted here of the incredibly good seating still available on Ticketmaster.com for the event.
On the morning of October 12th, I loaded Ticketmaster and this was what showed as available STILL for a “sold out” event:
Read it and weep, ETards! Once again, the Sandwich dares to go where no other column will dare to go because when it comes to the WWE we only have one philosophy:
Smartest Thing of the Week: Bound For Glory Built To Perfection
One of the most important things you can do is put on matches people want to see and more importantly build those matches well over the weeks to lead into your top PPV of the year. Bound For Glory did just that with the months of the BFGS tournament and the crowning of a new number one contender in Robert Roode, the intermingling of Sting/Angle and Hogan/Sting stories, the months of problems between Anderson and Bully Ray, even the attacks by Mexican America on Ink Inc leading to their tag team match. As opposed to WrestleMania in which half of the matches were put together a week before the event and most of them failed to deliver on any level, this looks like the chance TNA needs to blow the audience away and start gaining ground and it couldn’t have been built much better than this!
Dumbest Thing of the Week: RAW Blows A Chance At Change
It is not very often that WWE gets a chance to truly bring about an angle that captivates the attention of the audience, but they were beginning to have interest build from the big walkout on RAW that led to a lot of attention raising the SmackDown rating and the first hour of RAW. However, once everybody saw it was just the McMahon and Friends Show again they began leaving in record numbers to the tune of the highest hourly decline in four years. This was a chance to have something interesting occur, to lure in even casual viewers with something never before done and that would actually interest the fan base but instead it goes in the same pile as Nexus and CM Punk’s Mega-Push as things that could have been, and it is a damned shame because WWE has nobody to blame but themselves.
Old School
Old School will not be featured this week due to the larger than usual length of the comment section. We’ll be back next week!
Take 5
Wrestler To Watch: Austin Aries
This week, Austin Aries puts his title on the line against the man he defeated to become champion in Brian Kendrick. Bound For Glory usually features some great action and Aries will have to go deep into his arsenal to impress the fans and justify the X-Division hype, which I am sure he can and will do. The fact that both men can work such a good promo against each other as well as a fantastic wrestling match is just more reason to believe that this will be an important chapter for the Greatest Man That Ever Lived in his quest to be the top X-Division wrestler ever!
Promo of the Week: Bob Backlund After Survivor Series 1994
The man is just absolutely insane. He has absolutely no idea what the words are that he uses and he basically pulls off a great insane gimmick before finally going over the top by claiming he feels like God himself at the end. This is the type of emotion and over-the-top insanity that Backlund was able to provide to get over with a newer generation of fans as a superb heel and culminated with his championship victory at Survivor Series with one of the greatest ruses ever shown by Owen Hart. Take a look at this promo and you can see just how into the gimmick Backlund is, something we could use a lot more of today!
Babe To Watch: Eve Torres
Eve is pretty underrated because she’s often put next to Kelly Kelly but really, Eve has a lot of things guys are looking for in a woman: Nice ass, great legs, killer smile, and she can kick your ass with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! Also, the fact she looks delicious in a swimsuit doesn’t hurt very much. Eve came from the 2007 Diva Search as the winner and evolved into a wrestler a bit slow but so far she’s actually half-decent in the ring and fans react the way they should, which may explain why she’s teaming and often winning with Kelly by her side. Take a further look at the Brazilian Beauty!
Match of the Week To Watch: Santino Marella debuts against Umaga!
It was supposed to be a random squash of the local talent in Italy by the Intercontinental Champion Umaga, but things turned out very different for the McMahon team when a young man by the name of Santino Marella was called on to enter the ring and compete for the title against the giant Samoan. Of course, as we all know, Bobby Lashley got involved and the rest became history for the man who would go on to debut a move known as the Cobra and in his first match on WWE TV take home the championship!
Mystery Section to Watch: Be Glad You Aren’t This Guy!
So a drunk goes into a liquor store to get hammered even worse than he already is and hilarity ensues. There is no truth to the rumor that this is actually Colin before recapping RAW and Smackdown, by the way. The music and voice effects are not the original but provided by Studio8 from footage that appeared on Break.com years ago.
The Good, The Bad, and The… WTF?
The Good
We had some pretty good comments this week, in my humble view.
“Wes,
I still think you’re too easy on WWE.
TNA is following a very smart strategy. It is the Art of War:
Do not attack your enemy where they are stong, attack where they are weak.
If your enemy is large, then be small.
The fact remains that TNA is making amazing inroads in markets across the globe (The UK is just one small part of TNA’s success) and are doing exactly what WWE did during WCW’s ascendancy in the mid 90’s, by focusing their efforts in markets where they can achieve their greatest success. In doing this, they have created a global base that will springboard TNA to domestic domination.
TNA is a wrestling company in the business of producing original WRESTLING programming.
As WWE constantly reminds us, they are not a wrestling company, but rather an “entertainment” company.
WWE’s product is so inferior to TNA that they are forced to produce movies and other new sources of revenue because the wrestling product has been on the type of downward spiral you normally find in a toilet.
All of their talk about starting their own network is not a sign of strength, rather it is a sign of their continuing weakness.
The current WWE product is so horrendous that they need to utilize their vast library in order to entice fans to watch.
This library consists of WWE when it was a wrestling company and other promotions like WCW, ECW, AWA, and World Class all of which are far and away superior to the pre-school product they’ve been feeding their child audience and the uneducated, child-like adults who feel compelled to attack you in this column.
WWE is going to give away their 4 big PPV’s on this network. If that is not a sign of their desperation nothing is.
Now that UFC is no longer with Spike, I predict they will redouble their efforts behind TNA and within 2 years it will be de ja vu all over again.
Only this time TNA will finish the job WCW started back in 1995.
Now before all of you WWE Pavlovian marks accuse me of trolling, I dare any of you to actually prove me wrong.
Don’t worry, I know you can’t.
Somewhere in the deep dark recesses of you tiny, little minds, you’re already hearing the opening riff of the lame RAW theme and your too busy salivating uncontrollably to get that hamster spinning in a wheel that you call your brain to work.
Posted By: WWE IS SHIT…BUT FRAME IS OK (Guest) on October 08, 2011 at 12:20 AM”
Very well thought out, my friend.
TNA is taking the global markets away from the WWE and interestingly enough, in the past few years international attendance for WWE events has declined whereas before it was traditionally a sure thing that it would sell out. Perhaps when people got a chance to look at something else they found the WWE lacking.
They may produce movies and such but they sure as hell aren’t doing well with them. Within the span of three weeks two movies are going from about eight theaters each to Wal-Mart’s DVD bin. I remember a few years back that Guns ‘N’ Roses put their first CD in almost 15 years out exclusively to Wal-Mart and thanks to not having it in all the music stores it was a close #2, because people turned out but they didn’t want to be limited to one store to buy it. Making things exclusive to only one store is becoming more of a pain in the consumer’s ass than a benefit, and those eight theaters that get WWE Films are not selling out either.
You are correct in that they need to promote the old to get anybody to spend money on them and now that they are editing their own past on WWE 24/7 they are poised to lose more subscribers than usual. If what I spoke of earlier continues, we’re going to have some interesting moments in WWE Quarterly Reports.
Launching this network is so stupid as to be beyond comprehension. There simply will not be enough of a consumer base to justify the expenses they will incur and believe me, they already know it won’t work out since RAW and Smackdown aren’t even going to be on it live! The excuses from the ETards will be that they still have contracts with USA and SyFy but guess what? You have an option to buy out your remaining contract! Then again you need to be making a good amount of money to buy it out and after their last revenue statement they really have no choice.
Personally I like competition. I hope they decide to put more effort and money into TNA and build the matches and events even better before eventually TNA takes on WWE head to head again and this time, both shows deliver the way they did years ago. Vince will have to make a decision to either do it status quo or improve his product and his answer will be a good look at whether or not he’s lost it or still got it.
As far as the idiots in the comments section go, they are poor and very stupid so don’t waste your time worrying about them.
“Another outstanding column, followed by another round of people pretending to know what they are talking about. “Wes is two people”, “giving up more money and freedom to Hussein-Obama is good”. They might as well go stumble around Wall Street mumbliing about “corporations” and “the man”.
Wes tells it like it is. You people know it, and that is why you read the article. Then, after you try to wrap your brains around it, you revert back to your tired old arguments.
You know why TNA is superior to WWE? They care. Just like a good microbrewed beer, or a homemade pie — oh wait liberals dont believe in traditional families so they dont eat pie — it is the love that goes into it which creates the quality which comes out.
Posted By: Graham Wellington the III (Guest) on October 08, 2011 at 01:59 AM
Hey Wes! I assume you were wise enough to watch my Lions crush “Duh Bears” rather than suffer through RAW. All you need to know is that the next PPV is going to feature a guy in his 40s, a former reality-tv “star”, and two rejects from other feds.
Of course, is TNA did this, everyone would be up in arms. Kind of like how liberals are okay with America being at war (and starting new ones!) when their messiah Hussein is in office!
Posted By: Graham Wellington III (Guest) on October 11, 2011 at 12:03 AM”
Graham you are a psychic since they are wandering around Wall Street right now and leaving quite a hell of a mess behind, from what I’ve heard. They wonder why they have no job when they are spending weeks out there trying to stop capitalism and getting no support outside their own small base!
I do tell it like it is, and they read and comment not because they find me to be a joke but because they cannot admit that I’m right and most of what I say comes true.
Yes, they hate families to the point they are killing their own kids and getting away with it from juries too stupid to deliberate as well. Oh, sorry, “punished with a baby” as ME-Chelle likes to put it. I’m sad her children can grow up to read that their mother felt their birth was a punishment and it was written about nationwide.
Honestly, I caught part of RAW because I have to watch -something- of WWE but the first half of the show I was watching Terra Nova because of the MLB pre-emption. Notice Vince popped out and relieved HHH of his duties just like I said he would, too.
And yes, wars are only good when we are attacking worthless old dictators so that the terrorists who are trying to kill us can take over that country and then have even more weapons and people to use against the USA. Brilliant! Thanks again for writing this week!
“Good column this week. Very on point and solid. Err, I mean: You sux krik! Dubya-Dubya-E RULZ DUDZ!!!!!! DIE WES DIE!!! TNA SUX!!!!!!!11

Are you 12 years old? Why are you heckling a wrestling writer with ‘baby dick’ insults? Grow up.

That’s pretty much what he does, he has no life and probably went to find the kids from that ice cream truck picture so he could show them his sugar cone.
“God Bless the Nugget Awards!! I’m already laughing at this! and Kudos on the Herbert truck. Family Guy FTW!
Great column as always, Wes. Now on a personal note, i’m going to reply to a chosen few people who dont have girlfriends and attempt to have their shitty lives trickle down on us.
* I’m not speaking for Wes here. I’m only speaking for myself.
Ronnie is known for getting into physical confrontations with The Situation on the program. J-Woww and Angelina have already appeared on Impact, in an attempt to get Robbie E and Cookie over.
yeah Wes Kirk defend that….. its not even one episode he will appear on. it Multiple episodes. so a lot of air time for wrestlers will be ruined. TNA is still the same terrible company. WWE has more class than TNA when you think about it.. TNA is lame……..

Yeah, and in HD they paid around $65 bucks to see her wrestle for 40 seconds and they say TNA has short matches.
The people who think Obama is a good president are the same people who believe those planes hitting 9/11 were fake photographs, that aliens probed them anally, that the Earth is flat, and probably that my Ameritrade account photo was fake. In other words, consider the source!
Liberals are tolerant of all liberals but the second you say or do anything they disagree with they really can’t handle it, can they?
Spelling something incorrectly happens to everybody, even to me. The difference is when people are telling me I can’t write and then put in some words that only vaguely resemble English in an attempt to make my own writing skills look poor in comparison. You know, like people online who call you an “idoit” and when you point out how stupid it is to call somebody an idiot when they can’t spell the word correctly they can’t see the irony.
“the commenters on here that seem obsessed with Wes Kirk being a “fat, broke, pimple-faced, baby-dicked virgin” is above and beyond pathetic. Does describing what he MIGHT look like or be like, to such a low level, make you guys feel better about yourselves?
I can see disagreeing with the guy about his wrestling views or his political stance but this is nuts. You guys are elevating your own self esteem in a very kindergarten kinda way with these insults. You can describe him as a green midget that can’t stop hiccuping, it doesn’t make any of you smarter, better looking, or wealthier. Get out of your fantasy worlds, collect some facts & try to have a reasonable disagreement & stop acting like fucking children.
Ronnie keeps beating the ‘baby dick’ drum, that guy is an infant, along with all the other annonymous guest#’s who pour on here to sling their moronic garbage. It must make your week when he responds to you guys!

Hercules, unlike us those people can’t do more than one thing at once. I have an office I go to when I feel like it since I own the place and set my own hours and trade here and there throughout the day. So far it works just fine!
The Bad
We begin the bad this week with a man who never saw a WWE match he didn’t overrate, Colin Blow Whinehart!
“Oh Wes. Poor, sad, confused Wes. Do not ever question my contributions to this site, while I was covering half the TV and PPV reports this summer you were arguing with commenters, while I was covering RAW, Smackdown, and TNA PPVs you were writing this utterly trite and mediocre at best column. I’m sorry that your gimmick got old quickly and everyone saw right through your bullshit after about two weeks. You gleefully admitted to me that this was all an act and a rouse, and yet you still get offended when people respond to your flame-bait and then act indignant and try leveling insults my way? Please man, you have no ground to stand on whatsoever. You are a joke and a punch line to the rest of the staff.
Posted By: Colin Rinehart (Registered) on October 08, 2011 at 02:25 AM”
YAWWWWNNNN. Wait, Colin Blow, you are actually defending the fact you wrote those horrible reviews where you gave Henry vs. Khali like three stars? I’d try and sandblast my name off the report but then again I am not a fan of mediocre television.
You should amend that to say while you were covering RAW, Smackdown, and TNA PPV’s my column was getting more than twice your hits. I’d ask if, uh, you were mad but it is obvious that the answer is yes because when it comes to original content you have none. You can’t write a column here because nobody reads it! You had one for about two weeks and it got canned! I remember seeing you have such a lack of manhood that you gave Smackdown last week a 5.5 out of 10 and then said, “mild thumbs in the middle” when anybody with a brain and a set would have had the fortitude to say, “The show sucked, thumbs down” instead of trying to bail out World’s Worst Entertainment and their B-show.
I got old quickly yet my column continues to dwarf your repetitive and highly tendentious reviews in views and comments. You say I admitted something to you? I think you mean the time when you were drunk off your rocker (although honestly I don’t recall many moments when you were not) and you were babbling on about being so sorry for leaving nasty comments in my article during a kegger or whatever it is you do. If you can put down the Cold Duck for just a minute Colin Blow, remember this: If I’m a joke how come people want me to replace YOU? Oh yeah, I said it. Complain to Larry all you want, I don’t care anymore. Your one free pass was used months ago, now you leave stuff in my column I’ll say whatever I want in return. Heed my advice and step away from battling somebody who will prove your superior in every way. By the way, I obtained some footage of Colin as a child watching the Undertaker vs. Kamala series of matches:
FIVE STAR FIVE STAR FIVE STAR YAAYYYYYY YAYYYYYYYYYY SOMEDAY I WANNA CREAM MY BALLOON PANTS WHILE WRITING ABOUT THIS MATCH YAYYYYY!
Little Mikey is now Little Colin since you do that same little shimmy/wiggle/epileptic fit every time you see the WWE logo.
“In 81′ the debt was $700 Billion by 88′ Reganomics turned it into over $2 Trillion. In 81; the debt was 32% of the GDP by 88 it was over 53% of the GDP, the combination of LESS taxation and more SPENDING would drive any country into debt any educated person would get that, thats why hollywood actors should stay out of politics and stick to acting.

Once again we’re going to go into facts to disprove the liberal idiocy.
Ronald Reagan’s job creation from 1981-1989: Over 16 MILLION
Barack Obama’s job creation from 2009: Zero (net loss of 2.4% overall)
Ronald Reagan vs. Barack Obama on Debt as a Percentage of GDP:
Reagan – Highest year was FY1989 with spending approximately 49% of GDP
Obama – Any year from 2009-2013 estimates: Over 80% of GDP. 2011 – 90% of GDP
You’re a goddamn liar. It never passed 50% and more importantly, Obama is spending MORE in his first term than Reagan spent in eight. Reagan had over 16 million jobs created during his term to show for it, but Obama’s creation rate is NEGATIVE after three years in office. The estimate for FY2013 is over 105% of GDP!
Reagan achieved results, and even if jobs were temporary it is more than this guy is able to create. Reagan also had to deal with the following during the start of his Presidency: Potential nuclear war with the Soviet Union, highest Misery Index recorded in US history (so far) from Carter, high inflation, high unemployment, botched Carter operations in Iran, and opposition by all Communist countries including East Germany. By the time his term was over he not only changed everything around to a massive economic boom but also put into place the end of the Soviet Union, freed multiple countries from Communism, helped the unification of Germany, ended the potential for US/Russian nuclear war, added millions of jobs, reduced inflation, and increased employment as well as job salaries. That’s the difference somebody with skill makes compared to a hopelessly incompetent amateur.
“HEY GENIUS, two corrections:
>Several Smackdown house shows were postponed or cancelled outright in the last few months while some ninnyhammer wrote about TNA drawing only a few hundred fans to their house shows. Hey idiot, at least TNA didn’t have to cancel them!
Difference, idiot, is WWE wouldn’t HOLD a show if there were only a few hundred tickets sold.
ALSO:
>>”- During a hearing yesterday in Warren County, VA, the pending DUI charges against Kurt Angle from his September 4th arrest were amended to reckless driving. Angle was pulled over and charged after two Breathalyzer tests, one that came in at 0.091, which is over the 0.08 limit, and then another hours later, which came in at 0.06. Angle will appear in court on November 8th, and could face a $2,500 fine and up to one year in jail.”
The 0.06 was the certified copy that the lawyer used in a press release to show that Angle was being unfairly treated in this situation and that Angle had posted on his Twitter. The fact the charge is now dropped and reckless driving was used instead shows that the prosecution knew they didn’t have the evidence to convict Kurt and will be going most likely for the fine with probation. They screwed up and the man they happened to be attacking the character of is an Olympic gold medalist who won the gold medal for this country and has done numerous acts of charity work and runs a nutritional food brand so his character should be above reproach.

Yeah, TNA would hold the show for the people who paid to see them even if it was only a few hundred, WWE would cancel the event and make all the people who paid their money to see something entertaining for a night end up going through the lovely refund process. That’s real professionalism right there.
…What were the two corrections you claimed anyway? You did not correct a statement but in fact you contradicted one. And the second was just cutting and pasting my comments on Angle’s reckless driving and retracted DUI along with the original story that clearly stated Angle had his DUI charges CHANGED to a lesser offense because the original test results are inadmissible in court! You just helped prove my point, idiot.
“Oh Wes,
You are one clever little fella. Mr. Herbert…that just knee-slapping funny!!!
I’m so glad you put your issue with Frame into perspective.
So Frame wrote some nasty words and your poor little feelings got bruised.
I really wish you would have told us in the beginning that you were such a sweet and sensitive guy.
Had I known you were the kind of guy who cries at wedding’s, I never would have mentioned your sexual frustration and baby dick.
That was a low blow on my part.
It’s a real medical condition as defined below:
Baby Dick Syndrome
The medical condition in which your dangler does not develop beyond the size of a babies. Usually less then two inches erect.
“Wes wanted to have sexual intercourse with a lady, however he was unable to preform because he suffers from Baby Dick Syndrome.”
I just hope my unkind words did not cause you anymore emotional distress.
I mean after what Frame put you through, your fragile state is obvious to us all.
Posted By: Ronnie (Guest) on October 07, 2011 at 11:56 PM”
You know, discussing baby dick syndrome in detail only continues to make me believe you’re a fudge-packing ice cream truck driver with kiddie porn everywhere along with stuffed animals and chloroform. Seriously, if Aaron is proud to have you as a fan that says a lot about him.
I know the real story though; you just want me to show you my schmekel don’t you? Sick bastard.
“
I don’t know what’s sadder, Wes:
That you edited an Ameritrade account to prove that your rich or that for you $250K is rich?
I do have sympathy for you and your problem with Frame.
If a former Marine pointed out that I was just a no-talent hack, I’d probably run to my parents basement, cry for awhile, and then have somebody else (Csonka) fight my battle for me.
Well…no, I wouldn’t do any of those things.
But then I’m not a no talent hack, who’s created an alter ego to write a wrestling column.
I never thought I’d see such a clear cut case of dissociative personality disorder on 411.
And Ronnie was right:
You must have baby dick syndrome, which explains your irrational anger.
Posted By: TK (Guest) on October 08, 2011 at 02:48 PM”
Hi Ronnie.
First of all, what would constitute enough proof to a man like you? Do I need to fly to your house, produce a briefcase full of documents and have the President, the Pope, God, Jesus, and a group of angels proclaim it to be the truth? Because I’m not wasting my time flying over the section 8 housing areas. I also said that the account I showed was ONE of my accounts and I had started with $40,000. Obviously I did quite well for myself, yes?
If I have no talent how come my column is one of the top ad revenue draws every week? How come people want me to write more articles? More importantly, why would I be given a chance to write a book based on my writing here? Oh, right, liberals don’t believe in things making sense.
By the way Ronnie next time you reply try not to use the exact same sentence structure and spacing as your previous post or at least admit it is you, okay? Anybody can see you are the same person that posted above: The short, clipped fragmented sentences that look like it took a good two hours to figure out, the simplest possible words in the English language, the misuse of comma and punctuation, and of course the lack of any relevant or interesting detail at all in your writing. Sorry about your damn…life, or lack thereof.
…Oh, you know, I actually had some real gems and it would be a shame to waste all that time on the bad. So I have a brand new addition this week and this week only!
The Still Damn Good
“Looks like we have another delusional TNA troll in Mr “WWE is Shit”
(Another clever comment: You can’t argue so you call names.)
You don’t have to like the WWE, that is your opinion. But to want WWE to die just because YOU don’t like it is just a case of you being another selfish, butthurt whiner who wants WWE to die just because it isn’t YOURS anymore and “those young brats” don’t deserve to have it like we did when we were the kids being catered to.
(More irrational crying, “Why do you hate WWE…waaaa, waaa?” WWE has been killing wrestling for the last 10 years. To the ignorant masses in this country, WWE is wrestling. Which explains the mainstream unpopularity of wrestling. TNA will soon change that perception.)
Why would TNA being the only game in town be a better than WWE continuing to exist? Why can’t BOTH stay in business? I guess to TNA marks, both can’t stay in business and WWE has to go.
(See above: WWE is killing wrestling with their horrible product.)
The selfishness of the TNA marks have really shown through over the last several months in which finally they said that they would rather see WWE die than letting the next group of kids have it.
(Other than the Attitude Era, wrestling was good and more than suitable for kids. I’m just embarrassed for the adults like you who should know better, but have been so brainwashed by McMahon, you still think it’s awesome.)
Now I don’t hate TNA nor do I hate the wrestlers in the group. But I hate the people who run it and they will never put the WWE out of business. Who in that company has the power to put an end to the WWE? Let’s take a look.
Dixie Carter: A stupid bitch who doesn’t know shit about running a wrestling company.
(You clearly have issues with women.)
Hogan and Bischoff: These 2 couldn’t even put Vince McMahon out of business 15 years ago when they had the perfect opportunity to do it. What makes you think they will do it this time? They won’t they will fail again just like they did 15 years ago.
(Ever hear of the AOL/Time Warner merger? That is why WCW failed.)
Vince Russo and Bruce Prichard: Forget it. Will never happen.
(But McMahon, HHH, and the virgins writing WWE are infallible. You’re such a mark. A you drooling as you hum the open to Raw?)
So no TNA will never put the WWE out of business. And let’s be honest, WWE going out of business and TNA being the only game in town would be the biggest nightmare in the history of wrestling. TNA being the only game in town would be like dying and going to wrestling hell. So suck on that you delusional TNA marks.
(So I’m bad for cheering WWE’s coming demise…but your cheerleading for TNA’s improbable failure is good. Do you even know what hypocrite means?)

Posted By: WWE IS SHIT…BUT FRAME IS OK (Guest) on October 08, 2011 at 03:00 PM”
Nothing to add here. Bischoff also discussed the problems with AOL/Time Warner in his book which explained a lot about the REAL demise of WCW.
“Holy shit, Kirk, your column is entertaining if only for the vehement hatred you get. Daaaaaamn, dude! I’m probably one of the original TNA fans here, and, though I think you go a bit over the top (probably intentionally), it’s nice to see a column not intent on jerking the WWE off.
“Dipshit. How many times must it be said?
SNOOKIE WAS ON THE W_E’S BIGGEST PPV OF THE YEAR!!! YOU PAID $50 TO WATCH HER!!”
$65 if they bought it in HD… HD Snookie? You could probably SEE the herpes.
Thank you for saying this, so I didn’t have to. The moron who you responded to was actually trying to tear into TNA, talking about how awesome WWE is, while being too stupid to realize that WWE did exactly the same thing (and this is in no way an endorsement of TNA bringing in the morons from Jersey Shore — I just hate hypocrites).
Posted By: Jimbob Jones (Guest) on October 08, 2011 at 11:14 PM”
Pleasure to hear from you, and yes they really go nuts when people disagree with them don’t they? That’s why they can only watch PG material or Mom won’t let them watch MSNBC.
I’m not really in favor of the celebrities much myself but I know it’ll give TNA some publicity and a potential ratings boost, so I can’t argue about that. We are pro-TNA here and amazingly one of the consistently top rated regular columns is the Sandwich which shows you all you need to know.
“wow… browsing through the comments is rather disturbing…
wes, it seems you have a bunch of no life stalkers!!!
why should anyone on a wrestling website care what a writer looks like, what a writer does for a living, where a writer went to school & how much money a writer has???
newsflash… you dont have to be rich or go to great colleges to have a opinion, & produce facts to the readers…
anyway great article as usual…
thank you…
“its better to know the facts than to speculate and bash what you know nothing about”
and final note to all the haters on this site… i ask… why? … why the hate???
i ask both sides, please quit being mindless marks…
a real wrestling fan loves wrestling, and doesnt become consumed with what initials are representing the talent and the wrestling…
be a fan of the athletes and the sport!!! not just 3 letters!!!
(remember the late 90’s? when wrestling was exciting on a weekly basis… when both companies combined could easily hit a 10.0 rating every monday night…
its called competition…
its called a good product…
when wwe is motivated by competition their product becomes more exciting and so does the competition…
it becomes a great place for wrestling fans and the sport as a whole grows larger…
so im confused why anyone would want tna or roh to die… every wrestling fan should want them to grow so fans of all companies get better shows and better wrestling!!!)
Posted By: Guest#3617 (Guest) on October 09, 2011 at 08:30 AM”
I am with you one hundred percent! People forgot the time when wrestling companies fought tooth and nail every week to give you the best possible show.
“I read columns/articles on 411 either to be educated or entertained. The Sandwich is consistently entertaining and sometimes educational which is why I make sure to read it every week. The only other column I read every week is Ask411, which is always educational. Keep it up Wes.
Posted By: TNT_Brian (Guest) on October 09, 2011 at 09:42 AM”
Thank you Brian, hope you enjoy this week as well.
“I know you and I have our differences, Wes, but THANK GOD for your column. Especially when you destroyed that liberal who called himself REALLY.
What you say is true about most TNA critics. I may bash TNA more than I do WWE, but don’t mistake that for me hating TNA. I’d love to see another ratings war. It’d be great to see WWE scramble to stay on top again. I actually cried when everyone walked out on WWE, and when Colin and definitely Tony Acero vastly overrate the TV shows, it makes me sad to be a WWE fan.
Posted By: Michael Uphoff (Registered) (Guest) on October 09, 2011 at 06:43 PM”
Oh yeah, according to Acero the twelve-man tag match was four and three-quarter stars. You’re telling me that shitfest was almost as good as Steamboat/Flair from 1989? Unbelievable. By the way I know you’re a guest and it is fine to use your own name instead of his.
“Ahh…Wes/”Edge”lol…you do keep me QUITE entertained. I do enjoy your Live Coverage the few times you do that. I think you are simply the best. Believe me, as many haters as you have, there are many admirers of you, myself included. Just look at the heels in WWE/TNA that have their own devout followers. LOL..like I said in that one TNA coverage, consider me your own fan. Keep up the great work!
Posted By: LitasRevenge (Guest) on October 10, 2011 at 05:36 PM”
LR! Always nice to hear from you!
Thank you for the great comments as usual. I will do my best to keep things educational, entertaining, and ETard free!
The WTF
“Oh Wes Kirk, the things you say are downright laughable. First, we known that you stopped using the Black Scorpion name not because you were tired of a fake persona, but because Larry forced you to. Then you claim that you were writing under a blue collar fake persona. BS. If that was true then you would have said so the second you started using the Wes Kirk name.
No. Instead when you are called out on your lies, you retort like a typical pansy criminal scumbag failing to convince anyone that the solid proof against you is false with your : no no no you see back then i was being fake now im being real and im rich. When I said my life is not that interesting I was lying, I am not lying now. Please believe me. Here I will write a long explanation and post a picture of an E-Trade account that could clearly belong to anyone, be fake, and offer no proof at all that I tell the truth.
HAHAHAH you are such a loser. It takes 5 minutes out of my day before friends come over to watch the Jets game to write this. Your spend all week crying that people make fun of you. You have no life. I repeat, I take five minutes to call you out on your bs, no more. You spend weeks and months responding to all the people who call you out on your crap, yet tell us you could care less. HAHAHAHAH you are such a joke
Posted By: Mtoker (Guest) on October 10, 2011 at 07:48 PM”
It took you five minutes to write that? It’d take me about half a minute. Apparently the only thing slower than your typing is the little microscopic nugget you consider a functional brain.
I was never allowed to be Black Scorpion here because of the rules I mentioned. When I agreed to use my name that is when I got my staff account and played the role of Steve’s sidekick I wasn’t allowed to say why I had to give up the name at the time because people who are new have to obey a very strict set of rules. Once you have proven your worth you get more latitude.
Typical what now? My criminal record is spotless; I’m not so sure about yours because that post gives me the feeling you’ve been busted for substance abuse on a number of occasions. I fail to see any solid proof whatsoever other than posting something I said in a column that Steve will also be able to attest was not the real me. I complained about it, yes, but when I got the chance to change things up I did what people like you can never do and seized it.
I have to respond to the people who write in because all the libiots like you write half my column for me with this response. See, I do happen to spend time responding but that’s only because people actually read what I write. By the way, Jets did such a terrific job against the Patriots didn’t they? HAHAHAH in your words.
By the way you complete dunderhead, the account clearly stated Ameritrade and you cannot simply “find” an account snapshot on the Internet, you have to join and actually possess money! You asked for the proof and you got it, now you are acting just like the people you claim to hate like the birthers; they claimed Obama wasn’t born here, he issued his birth certificate, and they still say it is a fake. You say I’m not rich, I provide the proof, and you still go on about how it’s fake. Planes didn’t hit the towers during 9/11 too right? Go back to Conspiracy Theory and put on the tinfoil hat because you don’t belong in the real world unsupervised.
Candice Swanepoel shows off the goods with her latest Lingerie Photoshoot and it is indeed looking extremely good.
Aly Michalka is out in her little blue dress and looking quite good for THQ and for all of us!
And that ends this edition of the Wrestling Sandwich. Remember kids:
