Tommy Dreamer Thinks John Cena Will Get Lots of ‘Mileage’ Out of Heel Turn

Tommy Dreamer was happy to see John Cena break bad, and he’s looking forward to see how it goes. Dreamer weighed in on Cena’s turn while discussing the WWE star’s Raw promo on Busted Open Radio. You can check out some highlights below,(courtesy of Wrestling Inc):

On Cena’s heel turn and Raw promo: “John Cena will get so much mileage out of this. It’s unbelievable. I could see John Cena doing simple things [such] as leaving the ring during a match, which would get so much heat. Because here’s the guy that never gave up, he always hustled, always did the right thing, and now he’s not doing the right thing. Again, his explanation, he put it on the people. That is so key because it’s like I wanted you so hard to like me, and then I had to compromise myself for that to happen. Everything that John Cena got, everything that John Cena went through, everything he said was real.”

On what Cena still has to address: “Rock’s involvement — why did he hook up with The Rock. I also don’t care about The Rock right now, I only care about John Cena and his turn, but he answered all the questions I had, but why go to The Rock?… I get it why he did it, but I was just happy with that response because if you remember, Rock wanted Cody, did John Cena address selling out? Not really, but he didn’t need to. He basically addressed, ‘Why I have all this hatred in my heart for the fans, for the WWE Universe, and now you’re all going to pay. You buy my merchandise, it’ll be easier to pick you out.'”
