Update On Swerve Strickland’s Expected AEW Return Window

Swerve Strickland has been out of action for a little bit, but a new report says that he should be coming back soon. As noted, Strickland underwent surgery in late August to fix a meniscus tear. He has been out of action since then.

According to a new Fightful Select report, Strickland is expected to be back within the next month unless there are setbacks. There was discussion of Strickland originally taking the time off after All In: Texas in July. However, he stayed around until Forbidden Door.

Strickland was written off TV by virtue of an attack by Kazuchika Okada. The attack happened after Okada beat Strickland at the AEW x NJPW PPV.
