Update on The Young Bucks’ Recent AEW Absence, Deal With Company

It was previously reported by F4WOnline’s Bryan Alvarez that the reason the Young Bucks missed two weeks in AEW recently was due to a limited amount of dates on their contracts. Prior to this past week’s AEW Dynamite, the Bucks hadn’t appeared on the show. However, a new report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that their absence had been a “long planned” one, as the two were scheduled to take time off to sell injuries from Blood and Guts. They had planned vacations with their families and planned to take that time after the big, violent cage match.
Their current contract does include fewer dates, as well as making sure they don’t use up too many dates on shows. However, they have yet to actually run through all of their contracted dates. This time off was agreed to months ago. With the amount of dates they have left, they will likely not be on every Dynamite by the end of December, but will be there “most weeks.” It was noted that they are not signed to a part-time deal.
