Wayne VanDyke aka Richard Delicious Passes Away

– PWInsider reports that Florida independent wrestling talent Wayne VanDyke has past away. VanDyke performed as Richard Delicious, and he was only 29 years of age.

VanDyke reportedly collapsed after a match for the Ronin promotion in Florida on April 29, and he was then rushed to a hospital after suffering a heart attack. The report states he then suffered another two heart attacks while he was en route to the hospital. He was then put into a medically induced coma on the same day.

VanDyke was active for a number of wrestling promotions in the Florida area. He also worked behind the scenes for a number of WWN promotions. WWN has also announced that any money raised beyond the expenses for their upcoming shows would be donated towards VanDyke’s medical bills.
