Last week’s WWE Smackdown went up against the NBA Finals and saw its rating and audience drop as a result. Friday’s episode garnered a 0.52 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 1.959 million viewers per Wrestlenomics. Those numbers were down 14.8% and 11.2% respectively from the previous week’s 0.61 demo rating and audience of 2.207 million.

Friday’s show marked the lowest rating for the show in 2024 and the worst for an original FOX airing since the May 26th, 2023 episode also had a 0.52 demo rating. The audience was similarly the lowest for an original FOX airing since the August 12th, 2022 episode. This is due to the show going up against the NBA FInals on ABC, which did a monster 4.73 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 9.618 million viewers.

Smackdown is averaging a 0.651 demo rating and 2.326 million viewers in 2024 to date, compared to a 0.602 demo rating and 2.325 million for the same point in 2023.
