The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the WWE’s next show in Saudi Arabia, which had been considered for a move after the Saudi government wanted it on a different date, will remain on November 1 after all. The show is still set to take place in Riyadh at the King Saud University Stadium.

There had been a lot of changes made on WWE’s behalf in order to try to get ready to move the Saudi show, as they ended up cancelling several European dates, including their entire tour of Italy and several UK shows. They also changed their TV schedule to tape RAW and Smackdown on the same night on a Friday, taping RAW ahead of time, because the Saudis wanted the new date.

Now the WWE is back in the situation they were before, which is they have a live PPV in Saudi Arabia on a Friday afternoon and then a live episode of Smackdown set for that same night at the Prudential Center in Newark. WWE could still tape Smackdown that Monday or move the Newark show to Tuesday and tape ahead of time. At this time, the date is so far in advance that WWE has yet to discuss it.
