Yo, yo, yo! It’s me, Tony Acero! I’m baaaaack. As I informed you last month, Larry and I will be switching back and forth week to week. Due to this, I was able to bring back a column near and dear to my testes, The Wrestling 5&1. So, if you missed it, click the link and take a gander! You can see me there every other Monday! Anyway, let’s get to RAW!
Recap of last week, when we were forced to try and care that Roman was “Screwed.”
Back to Memphis, and Reigns is here LIVE. Is the stage different again, or has whiskey damaged my brain cells that much?
Reigns is noticably frustrated. Just as he is about to speak, Steph’s music hits, and here’s the RAW Commish. She says that she knows he wants to cause chaos, but she has a show to run. Her and Mick have been discussing how to handle this, and they’ve come up with a pretty good solution.
This prompts Mick Foley’s music to hit, and he’s out in his fluffy glory. The chant gives him a chant, and Stephanie encourages it, oddly. Foley says that he let the show get away from him last week, so tonight he’s going to take the two people who did interrupt, and they will face each other. Seth vs Rusev.
Reigns says this is great, but it does nothing for Reigns. Three weeks ago, Triple H screwed him over, and last week Rusev did the same. Foley says in 6 days, Reigns will face Rusev, and it will be for the US Championship. Steph says she personally guarantees that it will happen.
Reigns mockingly thanks her. Foley says Reigns has no reason to distrust Steph, because she’s been really open about disliking Reigns. Foley says he was an out of left field choice, and it personally offends him that WWE Superstars are trying to make decisions behind his back. He questions how the Universe can boo Reigns, and yet we find a way. Truth is, they are part of the RAW family, and they are engaged in a fight for survival. The truth is, when the smoke clears, Steph will land on her feet – but Foley will be out of a job. He’s had a run of great luck, he has a reality show, but if he loses the ratings war, all that goes out the window. All Foley really has is his word as his bond.
Steph is proud to have him as GM. Foley says he’ll make things right. He’s giving Reigns a rematch against Owens tonight. Steph looks bothered by this.
Owens’ music hits. He comes out, and wonders if Foley is just working on new material for his stand up special, because that decision makes no sense. He beat Reigns twice last week. He should be prepping to face Rollins this Sunday. Owens is in the main event, not Reigns. Owens asks Stephanie what this is. Steph backs Foley up, saying he will compete in a rematch, but Steph makes a point that it will not be for the title. Foley says that’s fair, but it will take place inside a Steel Cage.
We’re backstage, and Steph is questioning Foley’s decision about tonight. Rusev shouts from offscreen. He is pissed that Reigns gets a shot at the title, and now he’s got to face that rat Seth Rollins on Lana’s special night. He had plans to celebrate it. Rusev has figured out Foley. Foley is jealous of the Rusev family. Foley says he has a match this Sunday against Reigns, and a match tonight, so get out there.
Foley gets a call from Chris Jericho as Rusev leaves.

Seth Rollins is backstage, staring at Steph’s….office.
We’re back, and Seth is in Steph’s “office,” asking her why she allowed Trips to do what he did. Seth says he knows the truth. He wants to know, face to face, why they chose Kevin Owens. Steph says she knows nothing about it, but if she had to take a guess, maybe Owens is right…Seth is the reason why the belt went to Smackdown Live, and he did lose to Finn Balor. Maybe Triple H, who hand picked Seth, was tired of him ruining his reputation. Maybe.
Seth says that maybe she and her husband will find out come Clash of Champs that they made the wrong choice, put their money on the wrong horse, and maybe they’ll come crawling back to him, or maybe Seth will be their worst nightmare. He’ll know every move they make before they make it, and they can’t manipulate him.
Steph says not to threaten her. She didn’t know H did what he did, but she wishes she did. Does she think Owens is the right man? Yes she does. Does she think that Owens has replaced Rollins as THE MAN…yes, she does.
Seth says Steph is starting to crack, and it started with the return of her brother.

Their response is to come out and talk about UpUpDownDown as if anyone cares? Talkin about real estate scams and New Day always talking about their stupid cereal.
