Randy Orton Confirms New Five-Year Contract With WWE
– As previously reported, Fightful Select stated that Randy Orton recently signed a new five-year contract with WWE that would keep him with the company through 2029. Orton has now confirmed the contract renewal during a recent interview with Vincent Beltran for Marca.com.
When asked about potentially pursuing a title matchup, against Cody Rhodes, Orton revealed that he’s in no rush after signing a new contract with WWE. Orton stated, “I know you’re alluding to Cody and his title and maybe I’d like to do it later, but I don’t think I should rush it.”
Orton continued that he plans to continue wrestling for a long time, stating, “I’m going to keep doing this for a long time. I just signed a five-year contract extension and I don’t have to rush it. I’ve got all the time in the world as far as I’m concerned. I feel great. I feel healthy.”
Randy Orton has been a part of WWE since 2002. He turned 44 years old earlier in April.
