Backstage Update on The Hardy Boyz TNA Contract Status

The Hardy Boyz (Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy) are in the midst of a major career spike with TNA Wrestling, as the duo currently holds both the NXT Tag Team Championships as well as being the TNA World Tag Team Champions. They also added the HOG Tag Team Championships last night. They’re set to face the Dudley Boyz at TNA Bound for Glory on October 12th where they will defend the TNA Tag Team Titles as well as the NXT Tag Team Titles. With all the success for the TNA Tag Team Champions further cementing them as one of the greatest tag teams ever in terms of WWE history and wrestling in general, it looks like they’re potentially headed for a bit of flux.

Fightful Select reports that their TNA contracts are set to expire in November after they signed one-year deals back in November 2024.

The report notes that The Hardy Boyz have gone above and beyond for TNA, often staying hours after shows end for meet and greets, and that TNA is hoping to sign them to a new contract.

The Hardy Boys are coming off a big win over DarkState this past Tuesday night at NXT vs. TNA Showdown.

The report adds that “no less than a dozen” contracts for TNA are set to expire before the end of the year, including The IInspiration, Cedric Alexander, and others.
