Note On Talent Reactions To Sami Zayn Winning Undisputed WWE Championship

To no surprise, Sami Zayn capturing the WWE Undisputed Championship at Night of Champions has made many people both in and out of WWE happy. Zayn fulfilled his dream by defeating Cody Rhodes and Gunther at Night of Champions to lay claim to the title, to the delight of the crowd in Saudi Arabia.

Fightful Select noted in their Friday news report that a lot of talent across wrestling were pleased to see Zayn win the title. That include talent both inside of WWE and in other companies.

The report adds that there was initially some pessimism that Zayn migfht lose the title to Brock Lesnar ahead of WWE Summerslam, which would have potentially set up Oba Femi vs. Lesnar for the title. Of course, that does not appear to be the case as Femi gave up his King of the Ring-bestowed title shot at SummerSlam in order to face Lesnar in Hell in a Cell at the two-night PLE.

Sami Zayn is set to appear on tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown, which was taped on Monday.
