Drew McIntyre Explains the Photo He Took With AEW’s Jack Perry

– During a recent interview with Gorilla Position, WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre addressed the photo he shared on social media last month featuring him and AEW TNT Champion Drew McIntyre. McIntyre said on Jack Perry (via Fightful):

“On the same flight. I was just right in front of him. I had a chat with him. Lovely lad. His girlfriend is really nice, flying to LA. Just said, ‘Hey, we should do a picture. We’re both wrestlers. I’ll put it on the internet. Give you a little rub.’ People reacted crazy. That internet.”

As noted, CM Punk and Jack Perry’s backstage altercation that took place last year at AEW All In: London 2023 at Wembley Stadium are well documented. The incident led to AEW terminating Punk’s contracts.
