Impact Star Misses Turning Point Taping Due to Injury Concern

A top star in Impact missed tonight’s Turning Point taping in the UK due to injury concerns. PWInsider reports that Impact World Champion Alex Shelley was pulled from the tag match that had the Motor City Machine Guns taking on Moose & Brian Myers. Frankie Kazarian took Shelley’s place in the match, which was taped for next Friday’s Impact! Plus airing.

The site reports that according to sources, Shelley had an “extremely pulled” calf muscle and was noticeably hurting backstage at the show.

The plan is to monitor Shelley for the rest of the tour.
