During a recent interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, TNA World Tag Team Champions, The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) were asked about the spots where they were most concerned about each other in their matches. Matt Hardy noted the moment in the TLC 2 match where Jeff took a huge spear from Edge (aka Adam Copeland), due to the timing of the move.

Jeff Hardy noted that he was concerned when his brother returned to WWE and was feuding with Edge, fearing that something bad could happen to his brother during the event. Below are some highlights from Fightful:

“I was really concerned whenever in TLC 2, he was going to do the spear with Adam because we were worried about the timing. I’ll never forget how I was selling and had to feed into the next spot with Bubba after that. But I remember I parked myself over by the apron, and I was peeking up like that iconic Vince shot where he’s looking, but I’m like, ‘I gotta watch. Please don’t land on your head, Jeff. Don’t land on your head.’ Because it was such a high-risk chance he was taking and, God, of course, he’s Jeff Hardy, he pulled it off perfectly.”

Jeff Hardy on Being Scared for Matt During His Feud With Edge

“I think I was very concerned when the whole Matt and Edge thing was going down when Matt returned, and they were going at it from what happened in the personal life. I was a little freaked out like something bad might happen during that little feud.”

The Hardys were recently in action at TNA No Surrender 2026, teaming up with The Righteous in an eight-man tag team bout against Order 4. Order 4 picked up the victory.
