January 26, 2019 | Posted by

In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (via Wrestling Inc), Dave Meltzer revealed that Matt Sydal is now a free agent and has finished up with Impact Wrestling. He reportedly has contract offers from both WWE and AEW. Sydal previously competed in WWE from 2007 to 2014 under the name Evan Bourne.
Sydal suffered a knee injury earlier this month, and announced he needed surgery to repair torn cartilage. He later said the date was postponed due to insurance issues but he should be back by March or April.
