NJPW continued its 2026 New Japan Cup tournament at today’s Night 8 event at the Nagoya Kinjo Pier Arena in Aichi, Japan. Shota Umino defeated Yujiro Takahashi and Zack Sabre Jr. beat Ryohei Oiwa in their respective second-round tournament bouts. Below are some results from New Japan’s website:
* United Empire (Jakob Austin Young, Francesco Akira, Great-O-Khan & HENARE) defeated Unbound Company (Daiki Nagai, Drilla Moloney, OSKAR & Yuto-Ice) at 9:21.
* The House of Torture (Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Chase Owens & Don Fale) beat Masatora Yasuda, Satoshi Kojima & Aaron Wolf at 8:37.
* The Unbound Company (Yota Tsuji & Shingo Takagi) beat Tomoaki Honma & Yuya Uemura at 10:59.
* The United Empire (Zane Jay, Jake Lee & Callum Newman) beat Tatsuya Matsumoto, YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto at 9:35.
* Toru Yano & Oleg Boltin defeated The House of Torture (Dick Togo & Ren Narita) at 6:45.
* New Japan Cup Second Round Match: Shota Umino beat Yujiro Takahashi at 18:14.
* New Japan Cup Second Round Match: Zack Sabre Jr. beat Ryohei Oiwa at 28:07.
