RD Evans Reportedly Signs With AEW for Creative Role

PWInsider reports that reports that Robert ‘RD’ Evans has been hired by All Elite Wrestling and worked this past Saturday’s Collision taping. He is also expected to work tonight’s Dynamite taping. He took part in working on backstage segments this weekend. Evans was among several staff members who left the company last month. He had been working on the TNA creative team prior to that.

Evans left TNA voluntarily several weeks ago, as their working relationship was said to have become “strained.” Evans was reportedly “increasingly frustrated” and made the call to leave, although some in TNA said it was mutual. While it’s not confirmed, it’s possible that Jimmy Jacobs helped Evans get hired in AEW, as they worked together closely in TNA.
