We’re likely to keep seeing ripples from the New Day leaving WWE. they were one of the most successful tag teams of all time, beating Demolition’s record-setting reign length, and upending stereotypes of wrestling fans by selling multiple T-shirts covered in rainbows and unicorns.
We’ve already heard from MJF, Cash Wheeler, and the Usos, and reactions keep coming in from friends and opponents.
Tommaso Ciampa has one of the longer posts, on Instagram, where he posted an image of himself, Ivar, and Kofi Kingston back when they all trained together, and an old picture of Xavier Woods in ECWA 16 years ago.
Ciampa certainly knows about leaving a successful tag team spot in WWE, and has revitalized himself as a solo competitor in AEW. While Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston could have great solo runs, there are also many tag team dream matches possible if they can follow Ciampa towards Tony Khan.
Back at WWE, Damien Priest said the “locker room hurts” with out Kingston and Woods.
Locker room hurts on this #NewDay. All love for @AustinCreedWins and @TrueKofi

Matt Hardy, meanwhile, shared a fun photo of the original New Day trio, with Big E, and the Hardy clan.

More reactions are likely to come in as the (new) day progresses.
