Former AEW TBS Champion Willow Nightingale is determined to come back stronger than ever amid her ongoing hiatus.

Nightingale suffered a shoulder injury while defending the TBS Championship against Red Velvet on an episode of Dynamite last month. She was scheduled to face Alex Windsor in the first round of the 2026 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament at Double or Nothing.

However, ahead of the PPV, Willow revealed her injury and subsequently relinquished the TBS Championship.

During tonight’s episode of AEW Collision, the promotion shared a vignette that featured Willow working out and doing drills in a ring.

Nightingale admitted that somewhere along the journey, she became “okay” with letting her dream of being the best die, acknowledging that she got “comfortable.” However, the former TBS Champion is aware that that feeling is still somewhere within her, and she intends to explore it once she returns to in-ring competition.
