– Jeff Jarrett posted the following, looking back on his 2011…

2011 was a year that as I reflect on it was very productive and successful both inside and outside of the ring. Outside the ring several projects both domestically(All Wheels Wrestling) and internationally(Ring Ka King) were being developed for major networks around the globe; and, the TNA Live Events Team set revenue records this year in tickets sales as well as merchandise sales—an incredible effort by all involved! Inside the ring was very enjoyable, physically tough, and one of the most successful of my career. For almost 9 months of this year every time I walked to the ring I was facing the most athletically-gifted professional wrestler that I’ve ever seen—the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle. We wrestled each other in all types of matches— Cage Match, “MMA Style Match”, “Parking Lot Street Fight” Match, Mixed-Tag Match, and my personal favorite, one-on-one wrestling match. Kurt is not only an incredible athlete, but he also has “a gift” to be a multi-talented professional wrestler— promo skills, unbelievable timing, and an incredible work ethic. Fact: I became a better wrestler in 2011 because of the experience of this year…the recipe was perfect for good box office business! And, during this feud we got to experience a very unique situation when the Mixed Tag Match took place between me/Karen(@karenjarrett) versus Kurt and the legendary female wrestler Chyna. The match was super entertaining and all four of us “made it work” in multiple ways…true pros! Me and Chyna had a very well-documented, storied history as she was my last opponent in the WWF and tragically, I was in her very last match.
