Young Bucks Take Shot at NJPW In New Twitter Bio

The Young Bucks’ latest Twitter bio is a shot across the bow at NJPW. The AEW tag team, who famous use their Twitter bio to make statements, jokes, or play into storylines, updated their bio on Saturday in apparent reaction to the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door show on June 26th.

The new bio reads:

“Hey, remember when we tried to get them onboard day 1, but they waited ’til the dinner table was completely set first & also didn’t give us a proper send-off?”

This is in reference to NJPW and AEW’s rather famously cool relationship when AEW first launched, a relationship which slowly thawed until the company began working together in 2020. The Bucks had a lengthy run in NJPW and were seven-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, had a run with the IWGP Tag Team Championships, and had three NEVER Openweight 6-man Tag Team Championship reigns.
