Regal is out to kick off the show tonight. He tells Undertaker and Kane to come out to the ring, and they abide. Regal says that they had no business interfering with HHH and Austin’s post match “celebration”. He tells Kane that he is defending the belt right now… against RHYNO!!! This gives us a little something I call an…

IMPROMPTU MATCH!

Hardcore Title Match
Kane w/UT Vs RHYNO w/Edge&Christian
There is mayhem all around the ring. Undertaker brawls with Edge and Christian, and sends them into the crowd and out of sight, while Kane and Rhyno get into the ring. Kane has Rhyno down. Kane lands a flying clothesline on Rhyno, followed by a choke slam. Here comes Austin and HHH. They are both equipped with steel chairs. They lay into Kane relentlessly and they pull Rhyno onto Kane and Rhyno gets the three count!
Winner and NEW Hardcore Champ: RHYNO

Undertaker rushes the ring, but too little too late, and HHH and Austin escape up the ramp. Then we escape into some…

Kai En F’n Tai & APA Vs The RTC w/Ivory
Richards and Funaki are in to start the match. Funaki lands a hurricanrana then tags in Taka. Now Richards backs Taka into the RTC corner. Richards tags Val in. Val dominates, and lands a spinebuster, followed by a surfboard. Now The Goodfather is in. Goodfather lands a back suplex, covers, but the count is broken up. Val is back in, he lays some boots on Taka, and then tags in Bull Buchanon. The APA decides to get involved, and all hell breaks loose. The APA lands a double spinebuster on Bull, and Taka comes off the top rope and lands a knee drop. Taka covers for the vic. YES!!!

GMS and Eddie Guerrero are in the back. GMS starts his Ebonics and Eddie is not getting it. Eddie challenges him to a match tonight. GMS thinks that’s “bling blingin”.

Shane pulls up in his WCW limo.

Taker and Kane storm into Regal’s office and demand a match with Austin and HHH at Backlash. Kane starts lighting stuff on fire and Regal grants their wish, as long as they beat Edge and Christian tonight. Then he says that they are fighting E&C tonight for the tag straps, and it’s no DQ. Kane shows his gratitude by lighting Regal’s desk ablaze.

European Title Match
Grand Masta Sexayyy Vs Eddie Guerrero (c)
GMS dances and Guerrero takes advantage. Eddie whips GMS into the ropes, but Christopher comes back with a neckbreaker. Now Sexay plants a nice DDT, and he covers, but Eddie kicks out at two. They brawl to the ramp. GMS lands a bulldog on the ramp! GMS sends Eddie back into the ring. GMS goes to the top, and misses a flying cross body. Eddie whips GMS into the corner, but GMS blocks the whip, and propels Guerrero into the turnbuckle. Sexay lands a back body drop on Guerrero. GMS goes for a figure four, but Eddie sends GMS into the turnbuckle. Guerrero goes to the top for the Frog Splash, but Grand Masta catches him and lands a superplex. GMS goes to the top for the Hip Hop Drop, but Guerrero grabs the ref’s leg. The ref pulls away from Eddie and the ref runs into the ropes, knocking GMS down. Eddie rolls him up for the three count. Hm.
Winner and Still Champ: Eddie Guerrero

HHH and Austin are mad at Regal for his decision. Vince is with them, and he tells them to watch what he’s about to do with Shane.

Edge and Christian say they have a plan that reeks of awesomeness for tonight’s match.

Vince is out. He asks if this response is southern hospitality. Vince says that he never really wanted to buy WCW in the first place. Vince asks if he has the guts to confront him right now. Vince keeps calling him Shane-o. Shane comes out to Vince’s wish. Shane’s name thingie has “WCW Owner” and after that it read “WCW.com”. Vince wants to know what the big news is. Shane says that he came out to apologize. He says that he’s sorry that he didn’t know that Wrestlemania would be much fun, and he’s sorry that he didn’t do it sooner. Vince now shows Shane and Big Show talking on Raw. Now Vince demands that The Big Show comes out here, and here comes The Show himself. Show gives Shane a little handshake to Vince’s disgust. Vince wants to know if Show was trying to impress Shane. Vince calls The Big Show the biggest disappointment in wrestling history! OUCH! Now Vince says that Show is free to go to WCW. Now Vince shows footage from a year ago, when Shane was feuding with Show! I love nostalgia. Vince tells Show that he still has the chance to be the meanest, baddest WWF Champion of all time. Now Vince puts the offer onto the table, and tells Show to choose. Show grabs Vince by the throat, and then lets him go, and choke slams Shane! Shane sells it like he’s dead.

William Regal is out with Angle after all of the wrestlers have been introduced for the next match. Regal tells Jericho that he is facing Regal at Backlash in some strange match called the Duchess Of Queensberry Match that he refuses to explain the rules of. Then he says that Benoit and Angle are fighting in a 30 minute submission match, where the wrestler who gets the most submissions in his favor, wins. That should be sweet… Regal leaves and Angle stays on top of the ramp to scout Benoit.

Tag Team Table Match
The Dudley Boyz Vs The Brothers Chris
Buh Buh lands a samoan drop early. Benoit tries to come back, but Buh Buh lands a Buh Buh Bomb. Now The Dudz a flying nut buster on Benoit. The Dudz get the table. They set up for a face buster on Benoit onto the table, but Jericho moves the table. Now they prop Jericho on the table. Benoit breaks up what the Dudleyz where trying to do. They leave D-Von hanging on the top rope. Benoit and Jericho try to double superplex D-Von onto the table, but Buh Buh moves it. Now Benoit tries a german suplex onto the table, but D-Von moves the table yet again. Now Benoit has D-Von up on the table, and he goes to the top rope for a flying headbutt. Angle comes down and tosses Benoit off the top rope, and D-Von moves off the table while Benoit falls into it. The ref turns and sees Benoit through the table, and he calls for the ding thing.
Winners: The Dudley Boyz

Vince wishes Edge & Christian luck in their match tonight. Vince enjoys some footage of The Hardyz getting beat down on Raw.

I know CW would disagree, but I think Molly is ten times better looking than Chyna…
Chyna dominates as usual. Gorilla press slam by Chyna. I’d like to be Chyna’s hands at this point. Molly lands a quick bulldog, and covers for a two count only. Molly now lands a cross body off the top rope, but again only gets a two count. Now Chyna comes right back with a clothesline. Powerbomb by Chyna. Game. Set. Match. Point.

Angle tells someone in the back not to come out until Angle says so. Angle says that Benoit is going to learn a little something about the three I’s.

Commercials… Why get PPV’s when you get 4 title matches on Smackdown???

Angle says that there is no better feeling than making someone submit. Now, Angle calls in 3 local wrestlers for a submission match.

Tag Team Title Match – No DQ
The Guttytaker and Kane Vs Edge & Christian w/RHYNO
Bah… They introduce Edge and Christian first…
Kane has his left arm bandaged from the beating that Austin and HHH gave him earlier tonight…
I just want to see Undertaker run into the ring with his bike just once!
Edge, Christian, and Rhyno jump Kane while UT is coming out. Kane and Christian are in to start. Kane has Christian backed up in the corner. Christian ducks a punch and starts laying some punches on Kane. Kane quickly comes back and lands a one-armed powerslam. UT and Christian brawl outside of the ring. Kane has Edge up in the ring, and Rhyno gores Kane, most of the force right into Kane’s hurt arm! Edge has Kane in control. Taker pumps up the crowd and Kane tries to fight back, but Edge takes him right back down. Edge tries to cover, but Taker breaks up the count. Now Christian is in and he applies an arm bar on Kane. Kane lifts Christian up with ONE ARM AND SLAMS HIM BACK DOWN! How sick is this guy’s strength? Edge and Christian distract the ref so he doesn’t see Undertaker tag in. Now Kane takes both Edge and Christian out, and finally tags Undertaker in. Taker is a house of fire. Now UT tosses Edge to the outside. Taker has Christian up for a choke slam, but Rhyno comes in and lands a chair shot on UT’s back. Christian covers but only gets a two count. Now Rhyno and Kane go to the outside. Kane choke slams Rhyno onto the steel ramp. Here comes HHH and Austin. They work on Kane outside of the ring. Now E&C set up for the conchairto on Taker, but Taker ducks. Taker sends Edge to the outside, and drops Christian to the mat with a Last Ride. Undertaker pins, and gets the tre!
Winners and NEW Tag Team Champions: Kane and Undertaker

HHH and Austin come into the ring to assault Taker, but Kane chases them out quickly with a steel chair. Austin’s music rocks the arena as we fade…
