Report for 411 by Sean McCluskey
Vince is out to kick off Smackdown. He says that he has nothing to do with HHH interfering in Austin’s match on Raw. Vince assigns a 24 hour “cool down” period for both Austin and HHH. Vince says that HHH is now the number one contender, and that Austin will be “considered” for entrance into the Royal Rumble match itself. Now HHH joins us on the Ovaltron. He says that he doesn’t regret doing what he did. HHH says that this feud is finished, when Austin is finished.
Fatal Four Way match to determine the #30 competitor tonight…

Edge & Christian go to cheer Angle up, but he’s not in his locker room.
The Hardy Boyz w/Lita & Billy Gunn Vs Bull, Goodfather, and Val Venis of RTC w/ Steven & Ivory
Bull and Jeff are in to start. Jeff lures Bull to the outside, then lands a cross body from the ring to the outside. Back inside the ring now and a tag in to Matt. Matt goes for a cover and gets a two count. Bull gains control and tags in Goodfather. Double team facebuster on Matt. Matt regains control for a two count, then tags in Jeff. Jeff lands another cross body for a two count. Goodfather tags Val in. Val takes Jeff down and covers for two. Tag in to Bull now. Bull lands a powerslam. Bull now misses a splash, and Jeff lands a jawbreaker. Tag into Billy Gunn. Gunn lands the “one and only”, aka his cobra clutch slam. Gunn tags in Matt, Matt lands a leg drop off the top rope. Ivory distracts the ref while Matt goes for the twist of fate. Steven comes into the ring and hits a steven kick. Val falls on Matt, ref is back, and counts the three.
Winners: RTC
Taker says that he is the safe bet in picking a winner for the Rumble.
Commercials…
Test Vs K-Kwik
Test powers Kwik into the corner and follows up with a shoulder block. Kwik now comes off the ropes with a flying should block. Kwik goes for a hurricanrana but Test blocks it into a powerbomb. Now Test lands a full nelson slam for a two count. Kwik comes back with a spinning heel kick, followed by a hurricanrana. Cover for two. Kwik flips out of the corner and falls over a bit. He runs at Test but Test catches him with a big boot. Cover and a three count for Test.
Winner: Test
Test holds is hand up for a five, and Kwik jumps up and misses it. Right….

Edge & Christian & Chris Benoit Vs Chris Jericho & The Dudleyz
E&C rip on the Raiders. Jericho challenges Benoit to a ladder match for the IC strap at Royal Rumble.
Brawling to start off. Now Benoit and Jericho are in. Jericho reverses a back suplex, and goes for the walls. Edge and Christian break it up. Austin’s music hits and he cleans everyone out of the ring. Kay…
Winner: Me
Austin calls vince out, and here he comes. Austin just wants to know if he’s in the Rumble match. Vince says he’s in. Austin says he’ll get HHH after the Rumble.

Why does every curse word get bleeped out except Austin’s? Funk dat!
Vince questions Trish on why she joined Kurt’s side. She says that she’s been bad, and deserves a spanking. Vince agrees, and she closes the door!

Fatal Four Way (Winner is #30 in the Rumble)
Kane Vs Rikishi Vs Undertaker Vs The Rock
Kane and rikishi are brawling before Taker and Rock are in. Now Taker joins the fray followed by The Rock. Taker and rock are battling it out. Then Kane comes in from behind and tosses Undertaker to the outside. Rock battles with Kane. Kane gets caught with a DDT and Rock gets a two count. Kane clothesline Rock to the outside, now Rikishi is in and knocks Kane to the outside. Undertaker is in and does his vintage rope walk. Rikishi lands a big belly to belly suplex, but Rock breaks up the cover. Rikishi whips Rock into a Kane clothesline. Rikishi drops the leg and covers The Rock, but Kane pulls him off. Undertaker is back up and cleaning house. Now Kane and Undertaker brawl to the outside. Rikishi goes for a stink face on Rock, but Rock lands a low blow. Rock drops Rikishi with a spinebuster, but Undertaker prevents the cover. Rikishi is pulled to the outside, and begins brawling with Kane. Rock and Taker battle in the ring. Rikishi lands a HUGE back suplex on Kane on the steel ramp. In the ring, Taker lands a swinging DDT/ Taker makes his way over to The Rock and covers but Rock kicks out. Now Kane and Rikishi are back up and brawling over by the announce table. Rikishi rocks Kane with the ring bell. Rikishi goes back into the ring, and splashes both Rock and Undertaker. Kane comes back into the ring and lands a chair shot. Taker is back up and choke slams Kane. Rock prevents the cover by The Undertaker. Now Rock lands a Rock bottom on Kane, but Undertaker breaks up his cover. Taker and Rock brawl to the outside. Rikishi sits on Kane and gets the three!
Winner, and #30 in the Rumble: Rikishi
After the match, Kane cleans house, and we fade for Gary And Mike…
