Triple H comes in the building, and is greeted by Bischoff. Bischoff says that he is betting on HHH to win. HHH asks if he can throw a going away party for Goldberg tonight.
Intro…Shane vs. Kane contract signing tonight.
Jericho and Christian in the ring, protesting. They want Stone Cold fired. Jericho says that last week Austin assaulted him with no reason. Christian says that Stone Cold used his power to leave him off of SummerSlam, and he has no match for Unforgiven either. They both start chanting “Stone Cold must go!” This brings out Austin. Austin says that we all saw Jericho slap him on the back last week, and it insulted him. Austin says that Jericho and Christian need to get their asses whipped, but we all know he can’t do that. He then says that since Christian wants a match, he will defend his IC title at Unforgiven. Austin then begs for one of them provoke him. Jericho says that he wants the title shot. Austin says that he can have it, but there will be #1 contender match with Jericho facing off against…RVD!
RVD vs. Chris Jericho – #1 Contender’s Match
Christian jumps RVD to start, but RVD dumps him and Jericho to the outside, then dives on them, and they cut to commercial.
Commercials.
RVD with a slingshot splash for a 2 when we come back. RVD goes to the top, but Christian shoves him to the outside. Jericho beats him down on the outside, but RVD fights back in the ring. Rolling Thunder for 2. RVD goes for a straight kick, but misses and hits the ref. Jericho nails a bulldog and goes for a Lionsault, but RVD gets his knees up. RVD goes for the 5*, but Jericho gets his knees up. Ref is still out, and Christian gets in the ring to lay out RVD with the belt, but nails Jericho, then turns around and gets RVD. Ref sees this though.
No Contest.
Austin comes out and says that since Christian interfered in the match, he will have a Triple Threat Match at the PPV. RVD vs. Jericho vs. Christian.

Goldberg promo spot, shows him defeating Hogan to win his first Title.
Spike Dudley (w/ Bubba Ray & D’Von) vs. Rob Conway (w/ La Resistance)
Spike is in one of those neck braces. Dudz and La Rez beat each other down, and through the crowd. The bell rings, and Conway nails a quick neckbreaker for the win.
Winner – Conway
Conway gets a table and power bombs Spike through it. Dudz chase Conway away.
Coach and Snow with Bischoff. Bischoff expects that kind of carnage when they face JR & King. Bischoff says that the plan is in place, whatever that means. Bischoff gets a note from backstage person Jessie, and it says there are 2 half naked women in his office.

Bischoff walks into his office, and the 2 women in his office is Moolah and Mae Young! Moolah says that she is celebrating 80th Birthday, and has a match tonight. Mae gives Bischoff a kiss.
Victoria vs. Fabulous Moolah (w/ Mae Young)
Victoria is distracted by Young, and Moolah rolls her up for the victory.
Winner – Moolah
Victoria beats down Moolah and Randy Orton comes out. Randy comes to Moolah’s aid, and wonders what Victoria is doing, because Moolah is a legend! Randy then introduces himself to Moolah: “Randy Orton….Legend Killer!” then nails a RKO!

Another Goldberg promo, when he Jackhammered The Giant.
Lance Storm comes out with new hip hop music.
Goldust & Lance Storm vs. Mark Henry & Rodney Mack (w/ Theodore Long)
Storm and Mack start with tie ups. Storm with a chinbuster and a dropkick for 2. More tie ups, and Mack slugs Storm down. Henry in, powers Storm around. Goldust in, hits a throat thrust, but Henry no sells it, and picks up Goldust and nails the huge powerslam for the pin.
Winners – Camp Long
Orton says that he will meet up with Flair and HHH later, and runs into HBK. He calls HBK a stepping stone, just like HBK did before him. HBK says that he sees a lot of himself if Orton. There is a test he does to determine if someone is ready to face him, and he slaps the hell out of Orton. HBK tells him to step hard if he is going to use him as a stepping stone.

Earlier today, Rosie was trying to fly, with Hurricane trying to teach him. Hurricane flies away, and Rosie calls a cab…ha!
Terri catches up with Gail Kim and Molly Holly. Molly says that tonight they have a handicap match with Trish.
Bischoff comes out for the contract signing for the Last Man Standing Match. They are also signing a release form so no one else can be held accountable. Kane comes out and signs the contract. Shane comes out and signs the contract, and says that if he is going down, Kane is coming with him. Kane then shoves the table away, and Shane charges. Shane nails a series of low blows. Shane then cracks him a few times with a chair. Shane then uncovers an announce table at ringside, and lays out Kane on it. Shane then nails his signature elbow drop through the table. Shane walks back up the ramp, and when he turns around, Kane is standing in the ring laughing.

Goldberg Promo: Backlash against The Rock.
Trish Stratus vs. Gail Kim & Molly Holly
Trish jumps them to start, nails a double drop kick, then hangs them both out on the top rope. Trish with a leg scissors on Molly for 2. Trish with a chin kick, sets up Molly and nails the Stratusphere. Molly tugs Trish’s tights, and gets her caught up in the ropes. Gail in, nails a 2nd rope leg drop for 2. Molly tagged in, double teaming. Molly nails the handspring back elbow for 2. Trish fights back, Molly off the ropes, Trish nails a spinebuster for 2. Gail back in, more double teaming. Gail beats down Trish some more, Molly in, nails the Molly-Go-Round for the win!
Winners – Molly & Gail
More of a beat down ensues. Gail and Molly nail a double DDT. They lay her out on a chair, and Gail puts another chair over Trish’s face, and it looks like Molly is going to jump off the top and nail the chair to break Trish’s chin. Molly sees someone coming down the aisle…LITA!!!!!! Lita clears house, DDT on Molly, Powerbomb on Gail, ToF on Molly, shirt comes off! Lita looks AMAZING!!! She helps Trish out of the ring. Awesome.

WWE Rewind: JR and King taking care of Snow and Coach last week.
Gail and Molly complaining about Lita, Bischoff reminds us all that she was fired months ago. Austin comes in and tells us all that he rehired her, and he makes Gail & Molly vs. Trish & Lita at the PPV!
Coach and Snow come out impersonating JR and King. They sit at the smashed up table at ringside and they cut JR and King’s headsets, and Coach and Snow are your announcers for the next match!
Test (w/ Stacy) vs. Val Venis
Venis blows Stacy kiss, and Test jumps him. Test gets a chair ringside and makes Stacy sit down. Test goes for a Meltdown, but Venis floatsover and nails a back suplex, with a series of elbow drops for 2. Venis goes for the Money Shot, but Test kicks the ref into the ropes, and Venis falls. Test nails the Meltdown, and goes for the pin, but Stacy pulls him out of the pin. Test chases Stacy around, and BPP comes out on the stage to distract Test. Venis nails a weird, full nelson type slam for the pin.
Winner – Venis
BPP and Test fight a bit, and Test runs off with Stacy.
King gets in the ring, and challenges Snow to a match.

Goldberg Promo: Goldberg killing everyone in the Elimination Chamber.
Al Snow vs. Jerry “The King” Lawler
Coach joins JR at the announce table, and they banter back and forth. They barely show the match, and King rolls up Snow to win.
Winner – Lawler
JR salutes King, and Coach cheap shots him.

JR and King yell at Coach and Snow.
There seems to be a gift in the ring for Goldberg.

Evolution walks toward the ring for the Going Away Party. Austin stops them and says that if it has to go down, HHH has to do it alone.

The Rock will be Live from Hollywood next week.
HHH comes out. He wants to hear the Goldberg chants, afterall, it’s a party for Goldberg. Balloons and Confetti fall from the ceiling. HHH then rants about how he is the greatest Champ hands down. He then says that Goldberg isn’t the first man he will retire, and probably won’t be the last. He does respect Goldberg a little bit, that is why he got him this gift, and it is a picture of Orton, Flair and HHH surrounding a bloody Goldberg with HHH shoving the belt in Goldberg’s face. He then shows footage of what happened last week. HHH wants to see it again in slowmo, but Goldberg’s face appears on the Tron. Goldberg says that he will win at Unforgiven, and if it’s a special moment that HHH wants, he is about to get it. Goldberg jogs down to the ring, and drills HHH. Goldberg then puts HHH in a military press, and nails a powerslam out of it.
