In a major development, Bishop Dyer has been ‘locked out’ of Major League Wrestling amid an ongoing contract dispute with the company.
As noted previously, MLW insider Rich Bocchini revealed on last week’s Fusion that Dyer has been playing “hardball” to sign a new contract, making obscene demands, and has allegedly hired a “notorious agent.”
On tonight’s episode, Bocchini reported that Bishop Dyer has been using his status as one-half of the MLW World Tag Team Champions as the “ultimate leverage.” He then revealed that Dyer has been “locked out” of MLW until he “returns to a reasonable mindset.”
Bocchini further noted that Donovan Dijak would continue to remain champion as long as he found Dyer’s replacement until the end of the show.
Later in the show, Dijak revealed Josh Bishop as the newest member of The Skyscrapers and the other half of the MLW World Tag Team Champions. The two attacked Karl Anderson following Anderson’s victory over Dijak.
