Big E Reacts to WWE Exits of Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods
Big E reacts to the shocking WWE departures of his New Day brothers, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
Earlier today, fans noticed that WWE has moved Kofi and Woods’ profiles to the alumni section on its website. Shortly, Fightful Select and BodySlam+ reported that the veteran duo has parted ways with WWE.
Since then, there has been an understandable outpouring of emotions from fans on social media. Several WWE and even AEW stars have commented on the shocking exits of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
Now, Big E has commented on his former stablemates’ exit from the company in his own way. The former WWE Champion took to his Instagram Stories to share an emotional artwork. It features Woods and Kingston walking away, with Xavier leaving his King of the Ring crown and Kofi his trademark gear.

Kofi and Woods’ departures officially mark the end of The New Day. The faction debuted in the summer of 2014 and quickly became one of the most popular acts on television thanks to their hilarious antics and outstanding character work. They ruled the roost for a better part of eight years before Big E’s unfortunate career-ending injury in March 2022 changed everything.
Kofi and Woods turned on Big E during The New Day’s 10th anniversary special segment in December 2024, blaming the former WWE Champion for leaving them stranded. However, the angle never had a payoff, as Big E couldn’t return in an in-ring capacity. He announced his retirement earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer provided more details behind Kofi and Woods’ shocking exits. You can check out the report HERE.
