CM Punk and Roman Reigns will both be in the building on next week’s episode of WWE Raw ahead of WrestleMania. WWE announced via Twitter on Friday that, to the surprise of few, the World Heavyweight Champion and his WrestleMania 42 opponent will both appear live on Monday’s show.
The announcement reads:
“.@CMPunk and @WWERomanReigns will appear LIVE this Monday on the last #WWERaw before #WrestleMania!”
Punk and Reigns have appeared opposite each other on the last several episodes of Raw, as they’ve taken personal verbal shots at each other and made each other lose their cools at different moments. Only Punk appeared on Monday’s show, where he opened the episode by firing off at Reigns and delivering a few barbs Pat McAfee and Ari Emanuel’s way as well.
Punk and Reigns’ appearance is the first thing announced for Monday’s show, which is the go-home episode of Raw before WrestleMania 42, which runs April 18th and 19th. WWE Raw will take place from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California and air live on Netflix.
