Cody Rhodes Reportedly Not Internally Listed as Injured by WWE

– As previously reported, Cody Rhodes appeared what looked to be a nasty landing after a botched Cody Cutter attempt during his SmackDown main event match against Carmelo Hayes on last Friday’s show. This led to concerns that Cody might’ve been legitimately injured or hurt by the impact. Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez had an update on Rhodes on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio.

Meltzer and Alvarez reported that Cody Rhodes is not internally listed by WWE as injured at this time. It’s currently unknown if the impact from the landing caused Cody any type of minor or signifcant injury. Alvarez and Meltzer stated how WWE didn’t make mention of Cody’s bad shoulder landing on Raw, as Cody will be defending his title later this weekend against AJ Styles at WWE Backlash France.

As previously noted, Rhodes later informed Fightful Select when asked if he was doing okay, he answered, “Always.”
